Chapter 676 The Way It Was

"Is this guy... a monster?" Alfonso tried his best to lift the greatsword, but found that he couldn't budge Marcus's arm at all.

"The last time I saw him, I remember, was at Watchtower. Back then, he at least had a weakness, but now you can't even see a weakness anymore..."

Just as Alfonso was speaking, Marcus increased the pressure on his hands, and the dragon bones of the three knights creaked and groaned, while the outermost metal armor visibly deformed.

"stop!"

A loud female voice suddenly broke the silence.

With Rachel's help, Karin arrived at the hotel entrance.

Despite being unable to see, she shouted forward again, "Stop!"

Karin's voice made Marcus stop what he was doing.

The knights, no longer able to support themselves, collapsed to the ground.

Karin pulled her hand away from Rachel's, signaling the latter not to follow.

As Karin walked forward, she said, “You’re Marcus Byrne, right? The joker, the one who always sends me bouquets before my shows.”

Marcus mumbled incoherently, covering his head with his hands as if he had seen something terrifying, and kept backing away.

Karin continued, "I had my suspicions even before we boarded the ship. The way you wrote in my palm, and the order of the strokes—only Marcus would do that..."

Marcus clutched his head, sat on the ground, his body slowly shrinking, and uttered trembling words that no one could understand.

Karin walked over and gently touched Marcus's arm: "You should have told me who you were sooner."

Marcus's voice gradually faded, and his whole body began to tremble slightly.

Karin said softly, "Come with me, let's go home."
