The warships sailed south on the sea.
As the sun set, the afterglow of the sunset bathed the entire sea in a crimson glow.
Ivy sat atop the high watchtower, her right hand gently stroking the sword at her waist, watching the people moving back and forth on the deck, lost in thought.
Aisha stood at the bow of the ship, facing the wind and waves, and said, "Further south, you won't see such scenery."
Standing beside her, Rachel said softly, "Yes."
Aisha sighed softly: "Will everything ever go back to the way it was before?"
Rachel nodded and said, "Yes, everything will go back to the way it was, as long as we can find him."
Aisha: "Yes, he has that ability."
The two looked at the sea view before them and stopped their conversation, simply gazing quietly into the distance.
"Captain, dinner is ready."
The crew's shouts pulled Aisha back to reality from her reverie.
Stretching, Aisha said to Rachel, "The waters here haven't been infected by the undead plague yet. I had my men catch some seafood, so at least we can still eat something fresh."
Rachel nodded and followed Aisha down the deck, bending over.
Ivy, who was sitting on the watchtower, used her legs to jump down from the height and then went into the cabin.
The dining area on the warship was a huge inner hall, furnished only with ordinary decorations and some simple tables and chairs.
Originally, the captain and other ship officers were supposed to dine separately in the small dining room at the rear, but considering it was the first day at sea, Aisha specially arranged a group meal for everyone.
Steaming hot dishes were placed on the table one by one, and barrels of ale were also fixed next to each table.
Aisha walked to the seat of honor, picked up a wooden cup, filled it with wine from the barrel, and looked around at everyone present.
Crusader crew members of different races and passengers of various ethnicities sat clearly separated on both sides.
Five Valkyries sat alone at a small table in the corner, clad in armor, with their weapons placed beside them.
At the main table, Aisha sat on her left with Evie and on her right with Rachel.
Aisha looked around at the people, who were also looking at her, seemingly waiting for her to say something.
Aisha raised her glass, smiled, and without any emotional speech or lengthy mobilization, simply shouted, "For the Holy King!"
"For the Holy King!"
The deafening shouts echoed across the deck, so loud they even drowned out the wind and waves outside the ship. Even the griffins in the lower cabins were startled and cried out loudly.
Aisha tilted her head back and drank the wine in her glass in one gulp.
Evie raised her glass, appearing calm amidst the revelry.
She approached Rachel with her wine glass in hand, looking down at her.
Still flushed from the beer she'd just drunk, Rachel said to Ivy, "What a surprise, this is the first time I've seen you... *sobs*..."
Before Rachel could finish speaking, a sudden and unexpected change occurred at the scene.
Suddenly, Evie drew her sword and grabbed Rachel from behind, pressing the blade against the latter's throat with lightning speed.
This sudden turn of events left everyone stunned.
One of the alien passengers was the first to react.
A mutant creature stretched out its hands and locked its attack on Evie, with lightning flashing at its fingertips.
An arrow suddenly pierced through the air, penetrating the alien's arm and instantly killing the attack.
The five Valkyries dining at the small table had somehow taken up five different spots in the hall, forming a pincer movement that locked down the aliens' every move.
"No one should make any rash moves, or I'll cut a ventilation hole in your chairman's neck!"
As Evie spoke loudly, she used a rope she had prepared to tie up Rachel's arms.
Aisha stared wide-eyed at everything, yelling at Ivy, "What are you doing?! Are you crazy?"
Evie glanced at her and said in a low voice, "Shut up, you'll find out soon enough."
Suddenly, another mutant in the crowd secretly used his powers to freeze the drinks into ice spikes, which he then shot straight at Evie.
One of the Valkyries' arrows accurately shattered the ice spike in mid-air, and another arrow caused the attacking alien to let out a scream.
The situation gradually spiraled out of control.
Seeing this, Rachel shouted urgently, "Everyone, don't act rashly! We can negotiate..."
Ivy tightened her grip on her sword and said, "If anyone disobeys again, I guarantee that the next attack will not be as simple as just injuring you."
Rachel turned to Evie and asked, "What exactly do you want?"
Ignoring Rachel's questioning, Ivy shouted at the aliens, "Your Highness, are you still going to hide?"
Rachel's expression froze, and she quickly shouted, "No..."
Having anticipated this, Evie reached out and slapped Rachel's face, dislocating his jaw with a snap.
After doing all this, Ivy looked at the angry and uneasy aliens and said with a smile, "Your Highness, are you just going to stand by and watch those who once helped you suffer without doing anything?"
A slight disturbance arose among the alien species.
Ivy continued, "To be ungrateful for kindness and to shirk responsibility in times of trouble—is this how your father taught you to be a person?"
"You are not allowed to slander my father!"
