Enraged, Sutherland lashed out at the lava, roaring, "Optimism and arrogance cannot save your people!"

Todd flapped his dragon wings: "Dignity and freedom are earned, not picked up while running away!"

Sutherland's two pairs of huge, sharp limbs, when fully extended, stretched to a length of over twenty meters.

They swiftly sliced ​​forward, striking the rock face and leaving two huge X-shaped marks.

Having narrowly escaped the attack, Todd increased his flight speed to the limit, bypassing Sutherland's attack range and arriving directly on the latter's back.

With its mouth facing the rock wall directly above Sutherland, the dragon unleashed a massive fireball that slammed into the top of the cave.

With the explosion and shaking, large sections of rock crumbled down, crashing onto Sutherland and knocking him into the lava.

Just as Sutherland bent down, Todd extended his dragon claws, spread his wings, and swooped down rapidly, aiming for the compound eyes on Sutherland's head, and fiercely grabbed them.

With a sharp, piercing scraping sound, Todd's dragon claws left several obvious wounds on Sutherland's head, and two of his compound eyes were also shattered by the claw strike.

The enormous insectoid body to which Sutherland's soul was attached let out a deafening roar after being attacked.

Sutherland twisted his body, his limbs resembling giant scythes, and slashed rapidly toward Todd.

Todd struggled to control his flight, weaving left and right through the massive, sharp limbs, sending rock fragments flying everywhere.

Just as he was about to fly to safety, several parasitic tentacles wrapped around Todd's dragon wings, pulling him down toward the lava.

Faced with the dragon bound by tentacles, Sutherland quickly launched a third attack. He rose upright from the lava, and hundreds of sharp limbs once again lunged at Todd.

Todd, entangled by the parasite's tentacles, had nowhere to escape and was about to be pierced through the body.

A black figure, as swift as lightning, rushed between the two.

The black figure moved at a speed invisible to the naked eye, first severing the tentacles binding Todd, and then shoving him out of Sutherland's attack range.

After adjusting his posture and maintaining his balance in mid-air, Todd turned to look in the direction of the shadowy figure.

With enormous black wings sprouting from its back, Meredith fearlessly stopped in front of Sutherland, blocking the latter's attack.

"Meredis! Get out of my way!" Sutherland's angry voice echoed throughout the cave: "I've said it before, this is between him and me!"

Facing the enormous and terrifying monster before him, Meredith opened his arms and whispered, "Father, stop."

Sutherland swayed, lava churning beneath him, and said, "You don't understand... you don't understand what he means to the aliens."

Meredith shook his head and said, "You can't force Todd to complete your task, especially since he also has the responsibility of being the king."

Just as Sutherland was about to speak, the twisting sensation within his body caused his soul to tremble.

"No, damn it, not now... give me a little more time."

On Sutherland's body, countless undead parasites are spreading like a plague.

The pain, coupled with the prolonged battle, caused the necromantic will within the insect's body to expand rapidly.

Sutherland vaguely sensed that his body was no longer under his control.

Sutherland glanced at the dwindling number of aliens before the portal and said, "I must hold on a little longer... Meredith, my daughter, do you remember what I told you before?"

Meredith was startled.

Sutherland: "Once all the aliens have entered the portal, I will place my true form on the surface of this body... Your task is to do everything in your power to destroy my true form."

Meredith: "No..."

Sutherland: "My daughter, that will only kill my body, but my soul will be freed."

Todd flew over and said to Sutherland, "Just like you told me before, you and I are both reborn. When the body dies, the soul will enter the next cycle of reincarnation and start anew."
