Chapter 757 Homecoming (Part 10)

Todd straightened up with difficulty: "In the eyes of the undead, flesh and blood, as well as souls, are nothing but fuel for them. Although they absorb the genetic information of other creatures, their purpose is only to become stronger."

"They can only absorb readily available matter from the outside world, but they will never know what creation is. They may be able to devour a low-level intelligent civilization, but due to their own limitations, they will never be able to evolve into a higher civilization."

"That's the biggest difference between the undead and humans!"

The throat bone laughed loudly and said, "Your worries are unnecessary! My will will guide the undead to create a civilization that will never perish again!"

Todd looked at the throat bone: "Your will will ultimately become a feast for the undead!"

"Shut up!" The throat bone extended sharp limbs, slowly slicing through the dragon's flesh. Listening to the dragon's painful growls, it said, "Todd, tell me! You placed your hopes on those insignificant and selfish humans. When you cried out in agony, did they care about you? Would they help you?!"

"Power is the only way to survive; to hand over one's destiny to others is to be filled with lifelong regret!"

Todd gritted his teeth and said, "You only see ugliness and will never understand the beauty of this world! While some people are heading towards destruction for their own selfish desires, others are forging ahead with everyone for the future!"

"You don't understand, and you never will! Because you'll always be wallowing in self-pity and loneliness!"

The throat bone roared in anger, its sharp limbs thrusting forward, piercing through the dragon's flesh and blood, and directly into the latter's heart.

The dark golden dragon's eyes suddenly enlarged in an instant, then gradually dissipated like a collapsing sun.

Blood slowly spilled from Todd's mouth, and his tattered dragon wings drooped down, unable to move any further.

The throat bone slowly pulled out the forelimb of the undead mother, and looking at the blood remaining on the tip, it paused for a moment, letting the dragon's corpse slowly slide down.

Watching Todd's lifeless body fall into the churning lava, the throat bone turned around and slowly walked towards the teleportation gate.
