Suddenly, a pair of hands covered his eyes from behind.
A strange voice came from behind him: "Guess who I am?"
When Alfonso heard the voice, he froze on the spot.
He moved those hands away and slowly turned around.
Leslie, Alfonso's former partner, stood before him, smiling.
All these years have passed, but Leslie still looks the same as he did back then, as if time has never passed on him.
The short, stout Walton ran over, grabbed Leslie's clothes, and pulled him backward.
Leslie stopped, looked at Alfonso and Walton in front of him, and said with a touch of sadness, "You've both gotten old."
Walton: "Nonsense! We've just entered heaven!"
Leslie stepped aside and said to Alfonso, "Boss, look who this is?"
A gentle and graceful woman with long hair stood not far away, smiling as she looked at Alfonso.
Alfonso's eyes widened instantly, and he stretched out trembling hands to the woman: "Adelina? Is it really you?"
The woman nodded gently, and the next second, she was pulled into Alfonso's tight embrace.
Seeing this, Walton sighed and asked Leslie, "I thought this line only belonged to the recently deceased. How did you and Adelina end up here?"
Leslie: "We arrived in heaven a long time ago. Because there have been so many visiting souls recently, the angels have been too busy, so they invite some people from heaven to come and help. So, Adelina and I are here."
Walton: "You mean you arrived a long time ago?"
Leslie: "When I first became a soul, I could only feel myself floating in the air. Until one day, I was suddenly pulled into a beam of light by a force."
Just as the two were talking, a commotion broke out at the front of the line.
Soon, a message spread throughout all the teams.
The trial of the soul has been suspended.
