A normal girl, Yu Wanwan, one day stepped onto the Beastmen Continent. Powerless, she decided to cling to the coattails of the Great White Tiger.
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Far...
Fei Han chuckled and patted the little female's pale face, then took her hand and led her home: "Wait for me at home, I'll go find mulberry leaves to exchange for silkworm silk."
Yu Wanwan tugged at his hand: "Are there mulberry groves near the tribe?"
Fei Han scratched her head: "I'm not too sure either, but I think there probably is."
Although he had wings, he didn't explore the surrounding environment as thoroughly as Mo Zhou did, even memorizing the number of stones in each ravine.
However, finding trees is a bird's forte, so Fei Han wasn't worried about not being able to find a mulberry tree.
It was still early, and Yu Wanwan didn't want to go back to her room. She tugged at Fei Han's hand and looked up at him, saying, "Fei Han, take me with you. It's too boring going back to the cave."
Thinking that he could be alone, Fei Han was naturally willing to take the little female with him.
A moment later, Yu Wanwan climbed onto the red bird's broad back and carried her out of the tribe.
The whistling wind rushed past her ears, and Yu Wanwan could barely open her eyes. She peeked out from under her eyes and could only see the endless green mountains below, and more clearly, the jade-like river.
Yu Wanwan wanted to tell Fei Han to fly slower and lower, but Fei Han was probably tired of cooking and hadn't been out for a while. She was very excited and was spreading her wings and flying as hard as she could.
If it weren't for the fact that the little female was still on her back, Fei Han would have even wanted to do a 360-degree spin.
After a while, Fei Han calmed down and gradually slowed down.
At this moment, Yu Wanwan felt like she was riding a tractor on a highway, high up and exposed to wind from all directions.
As Yu Wanwan was tugging at her bangs, she heard Fei Han whimper. She couldn't understand it before, but now that she was Fei Han's partner, she could understand this bird language.
“There are merfolk below capturing people,” Fei Han said.
Almost instantly, Yu Wanwan thought of the destined person being hunted by the merfolk. Perhaps the person that the merfolk were holding now was the destined person.
Now that she was part of the passionate orc faction, she had to go and help no matter what. If the merfolk killed her destined one and overthrew the orc continent, both she and the White Tiger tribe would be implicated.
Thinking of this, Yu Wanwan hugged the red bird's neck tightly, her words almost disappearing in the wind: "Let's go down and help quickly."
This group of mermaids was the same group from the Beibu Gulf Forest. They successfully intercepted the female leopard on her way to the White Tiger Tribe and killed her partner, intending to take the female back to the seabed.
Fei Han glanced at Yu Wanwan, then found a spot not too far away and stopped behind the mermaid.
When will the elders arrive?
"It should be soon. Let's tie up this female first, take her to the beach, and then slowly reunite with her."
Yu Wanwan quietly estimated the number of people and mentally calculated the probability of successfully saving the person destined for her.
There were about twenty people. If Mo Zhou were there, he could definitely defeat them, but if it were Fei Han, he might not be able to act recklessly and would have to think of some strategy.
Yu Wanwan tugged at Fei Han's hand and whispered, "Fei Han, wait a moment and lure them all away. Then I'll go rescue the females, and you can come back and fly us back."
Having grown up in Beast City, Fei Han naturally understood the importance of the destined person. He nodded, transformed into his beast form, and flew away.
The merfolk spotted Fei Han from afar and quickly raised their harpoons to meet the enemy.
The giant red bird grabbed two mermaids at a tricky angle, carried them into the sky, dropped them down hard, and continued its attack.
The merfolk huddled together, wildly waving their harpoons to keep Fei Han away. Seeing this, Fei Han grabbed two large rocks and threw them down. One of the merfolk was hit on the forehead, bleeding profusely, and immediately fainted.
The merfolk were furious and threw their harpoons far away. The harpoons grazed Fei Han's head, making Yu Wanwan tremble with fear.
If it weren't for the urgency of the situation and the fact that this place was far from the tribe and there wasn't enough time to go back and report, Yu Wanwan would be filled with regret now. Fei Han wasn't a combat type to begin with, and she shouldn't have sent him out to rescue people.
Yu Wanwan bit her lip, then suddenly pulled out her slingshot from her waist, loaded it with pebbles, aimed at a mermaid, and fired.
The merman was completely focused on dealing with Fei Han and didn't notice the small pebble at all. By the time he came to his senses, a bloody mark had been drawn on his face from the stone, and he had almost been pricked in the eye by the sharp edge of the stone.
He screamed in pain, and Fei Han took the opportunity to grab another mermaid and carry it into the sky.
Yu Wanwan hid behind a tree, trying to calm her breathing.
When the merfolk were once again drawn to Fei Han's attention, Yu Wanwan threw another pebble at them.
After several rounds, the merfolk were so angry they lost their bearings, and most of them chased after Fei Han in that direction.
Yu Wanwan peeked out and saw that there were only three mermaids left beside the female. She took out her slingshot, aimed at the mermaids' eyes, and fired a stone.
Her aim was spot on; the merman was blinded in one eye, and half his face was instantly stained red with blood, making him look extremely ferocious.
Mermaids have extremely poor senses on land, so they couldn't tell where Yu Wanwan was. One merman stayed in place to watch the female, while the other two searched nearby for the whereabouts of the stones.
Seeing that they had gone far away, Yu Wanwan, holding a large rock in her hand, slowly moved behind the mermaids.
She patted the mermaid on the right shoulder, and when he turned around, the large rock slammed into his head.
The merman let out a muffled groan, then collapsed limply to the ground.
