The elder frowned.

Now, only Zhiyang remains as the party involved in this matter. If Zhiyang insists that she knows nothing, it will be difficult to take action.

The elder waved his hand, signaling Zhiyang to leave first.

The shadowy figure standing nearby asked, "What does the elder think about this matter?"

The elder had always trusted Yu Ling completely and never imagined that Yu Ling would betray him for a female.

If, as Zhiyang said, they really encountered a school of piranhas, forcing the two sides to separate, and Yuling's team was accidentally caught in the vortex, then perhaps that makes sense.

The shadowy figure scoffed, saying incredulously, "Elder, you don't actually believe what Zhiyang said, do you?"

The shadowy figure crossed his arms and said, "I think it was Zhiyang who betrayed the merfolk, killed Yuling, and ran away with the females."

After the shadowy figure's analysis, the elder was more inclined to this conclusion. However, Zhiyang did not admit to it, and he did have wounds caused by piranhas. He was someone the merman king valued, so the elder could not do anything to him for the time being.

The elder nodded and summoned the mermaid who had met Yu Wanwan before.

The mermaid said, "That female is indeed very beautiful, and looks a lot like the person we're looking for."

The elder rested one arm on his knee and leaned slightly forward: "Do you know what race she is?"

The mermaid thought for a moment and said, "I heard her say before that she was from the rabbit tribe."

The elder then asked the mermaid, "Where did you catch her?"

The mermaid said, "I heard them say that it was caught near the Beibu Gulf forest. They originally wanted to capture another female leopard, but that female ran out to save them and ended up being captured herself."

Upon hearing this, the elder laughed twice: "The females on the shore are either incredibly stupid or incredibly heartless."

The shadowy figure lowered its eyes and thought for a moment before saying, "I remember there's a fairly large rabbit tribe in the Beibu Gulf Forest. Maybe that female was from that tribe, which is why she happened to appear in the Beibu Gulf Forest at that time."

The elder nodded, indicating his agreement with the figure's statement.

The shadowy figure handed the shell containing the red crab to the elder: "This is a female crab that I obtained by chance. If we put it on the shore, not only will the female be caught, but the entire Beibu Gulf forest will be doomed."

The elder laughed.

Red crabs are carnivorous creatures that rival piranhas in the ocean depths. However, unlike piranhas, which prefer to eat mermaid flesh, red crabs prefer to eat orc flesh. But since they were trapped in the deep sea, the number of red crabs has decreased dramatically. The elder originally thought that these creatures had become extinct, but unexpectedly, the shadowy figure produced one, and it was a female crab at that.

Yu Wanwan returned to the White Tiger Tribe and waited for several days before Mo Zhou finally came back.

The moment Yu Wanwan saw Mo Zhou, she finally felt relieved and hugged him tightly, refusing to let go.

That night, Yu Wanwan lay in Mo Zhou's arms, her fingers twirling his hair: "Mo Zhou, did Zhi Yang tell you I was alright before you came back?"

Mo Zhou patted her head and shook his head: "I didn't run into Zhi Yang. I encountered a group of red crabs in the sea. They kept chasing me, so I came back."

At that time, he was searching for the location of the palace in the sea when, by sheer bad luck, he encountered a group of red crabs. These dead crabs wanted to eat his flesh and kept chasing him. Since he couldn't maneuver his boat properly in the sea, he had to return to the shore first before he could finally eliminate the group of crabs.

Then he encountered the tiger-tribe beastmen who had stayed behind on the shore. Knowing that Yu Wanwan had returned to the tribe, he was relieved and did not continue to go into the sea, but instead turned around and went home.

"Red crab? What's that?" Yu Wanwan asked, puzzled. She only knew that cooked crabs were red, but she never expected that there were uncooked red crabs.

Mo Zhou explained, "The Red Crab's main food is the flesh of orcs. It is a very dangerous crab. If you see it, Wanwan, please don't go near it."

Upon hearing that they were going to eat human flesh, Yu Wanwan's mouth dropped open in astonishment.
