Fei Han glared at him fiercely: "What are you saying? When did I ever say such a thing?"

“You clearly said that.” Su Hui scratched his head.

His doubts lasted only a moment before he quickly transformed into a carefree and cheerful demeanor: "Never mind, as long as you're alright, that's all that matters. Where's your partner? Let me see what kind of female she is; even our Lord Feihan is captivated by her."

Fei Han snorted and proudly pushed Yu Wanwan out from behind her: "This is my partner—Yu Wanwan."

Like a child being pushed out by her parents to meet relatives during Chinese New Year, Yu Wanwan waved to Su Hui with a reserved air: "Hello, I am Yu Wanwan, you can just call me Wanwan."

Su Hui reached up and touched his chest, letting out a loud "Wanwan, you're so beautiful, you can be with..."

"Can't!"

Fei Han immediately knew what he was thinking from his expression, interrupted him, and pulled Yu Wanwan back behind her.

Su Hui craned his neck to look at Yu Wanwan behind him, and said angrily, "I haven't finished speaking yet!"

"You don't need to finish! Wanwan doesn't like you and won't marry you."

"How do you know Wanwan doesn't like me! I'm so charming."

Fei Han scoffed and raised an eyebrow at him: "Are you sure?"

Su Hui: "..."

Okay, he admitted that compared to Fei Han, he was indeed not as good-looking.

"Ugh, you're driving me crazy!" Su Hui stomped his foot in exasperation. "Let me see a female. What if she likes my type?"

Fei Han looked down at Yu Wanwan: "Wanwan, do you like him?"

His eyes were icy, and the meaning was clear: if you dare to say you like someone today, you're in trouble tonight.

Yu Wanwan quickly shook her head.

Fei Han patted Yu Wanwan's head with satisfaction and raised her chin slightly: "You see, Wanwan doesn't like you."

Su Hui was furious: "You forced me to do this!"

"Mind your own business, go ahead and hit me if you dare." Fei Han's expression was extremely irritating.

The two argued for a while at the entrance of the tribe, but eventually became good buddies again.

Bai Jing arranged a welcome party in the square to welcome the beast soldiers.

Su Hui sat next to Fei Han. Although he had been rejected by Yu Wanwan when he tried to woo her, they still had a lot to talk about after being apart for so long.

Although Su Hui did most of the talking, Fei Han listened with a blank expression.

After dinner, Bai Jing took them to the cave where they were staying temporarily. Fei Han wanted to continue drinking with Su Hui and told Yu Wanwan that she wouldn't be coming back today.

Yu Wanwan took some wine, fruit, and meat from the cellar and asked Fei Han to take them with her.

She could sense that Fei Han was much happier after seeing Su Hui.

Fei Han brought wine and food and arranged to meet Su Hui on a mountaintop, facing the moon.

There is wine in Beast City, and it is much better than the wine here, but the joy of seeing Fei Han again made Su Hui think that the wine was also quite delicious.

Fei Han picked up the cup and held it in front of Su Hui: "Here."

"What's coming?" Su Hui asked, puzzled.

Fei Han picked up a glass of wine and placed it in his hand, then brought her own glass to the table. The two glasses clinked together, making a crisp sound. Fei Han then drank the wine in one gulp.

Su Hui followed his lead and drank his wine, asking, "What are you doing?"

Fei Han explained, "This is called clinking glasses, it's a way of celebrating."

"Oh?" Su Hui looked at him: "Where did you learn that from?"

Fei Han chuckled: "It was my little female who told me."

When he talked about Yu Wanwan, his expression softened considerably. Su Hui looked at him and couldn't help but sigh that Fei Han, who used to have such an arrogant and disdainful attitude, actually had a time when he cared about someone.

"Your females are really interesting."

"Of course." Fei Han took a sip of wine and then emphasized, "You're not allowed to flirt with my females."

Su Hui was furious that he was so wary of him: "Why? I'm so powerful."

"You?" Fei Han scoffed, bluntly criticizing him: "You can't even beat Bai Jing."

Su Hui choked up, wanting to refute but unable to speak.

He really couldn't beat that tiger beast, and unlike Fei Han, he didn't know any medical skills, nor was he as good-looking as him. He was so annoyed.

That's what he thought, but Su Hui still tried to save face: "If I seriously pursue her, I can definitely become Wanwan's partner!"

Fei Han smiled but didn't respond.

He didn't think Wanwan would accept him easily, especially since there was a snake beast at home. If Su Hui tried to get close to Yu Wanwan, he would probably be whipped away by the snake beast's tail before he could even take a step forward.

"Then go ahead and give it a try, but remember to be careful. This is my advice to you."

Su Hui was also very attracted to Yu Wanwan. He had never seen such a beautiful little female before. She was delicate and tender, and just looking at her made him like her.

Su Hui nudged Fei Han with his elbow and gossiped, "How did you manage to win over Wanwan? Tell me quickly."

Fei Han said with considerable pride, "Then of course I'll use my masculine charm."

Su Hui's lips twitched: "Don't you know that your charm has been completely overshadowed by your mouth?"

Fei Han pretended not to hear.

Su Hui thought of something and added, "By the way, since you weren't injured and even found a mate, why didn't you take the little female back to Beast City? You have no idea how worried the Beast King and the elders have been since they found out you were missing."

"Elder?" Fei Han asked, "Is the current elder Chang Yue?"

“That’s right.” Su Hui said matter-of-factly, “Chang Yue was originally a candidate for elder, so it was only right that he took over as elder. Chang Yue knew you were missing and almost missed the elder election, but luckily he made it in time. Otherwise, all his hard work over the years would have been in vain.”
