A normal girl, Yu Wanwan, one day stepped onto the Beastmen Continent. Powerless, she decided to cling to the coattails of the Great White Tiger.
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Far...
Shunfeng's face turned red with anger at his words. He grabbed his own hand and shouted, "Don't talk nonsense! We didn't burn down your shop at all!"
"It's you! You're the murderer! I'm going to have the patrol team arrest you all!"
Their commotion finally attracted attention. A group of orcs wielding spears pushed through the crowd and swaggered in, shouting menacingly, "What are you all doing here!"
When the innkeeper saw the patrol team arrive, he rushed to the patrol leader with tears streaming down his face and cried out, "Sir, they burned down my inn! You must do justice for me!"
The patrol captain, looking impatient, avoided his tear-streaked face, frowned, and glanced around. But when he saw Fei Han, he froze on the spot, his expression changing rapidly from surprise to disbelief, and finally to respect and fear: "Lady Fei Han, you...you are not..."
He couldn't continue speaking. Everyone in Beast City was saying that Fei Han was dead, but the person who appeared in broad daylight and stood alive in front of him was undoubtedly that fiend!
Fei Han curled her lips, making her already beautiful face even more stunning. However, the patrol captain felt no beauty at all; instead, he felt a chill run down his spine, making his legs tremble.
The innkeeper continued to wail, "Sir, you must do me justice!"
"What are you doing!" The patrol captain finally realized what was happening and glared at the innkeeper through gritted teeth.
But the boss didn't realize what was happening and actually thought the patrol captain was on his side. He pointed at Yu Wanwan and her group and said, "It's this person, and this one, and this one. They burned down my shop. You have to make them pay me!"
The innkeeper was still rambling on. The patrol captain glanced at Fei Han subconsciously and saw Fei Han looking at him with an ambiguous gaze. Most importantly, he had a smile on his face!
The patrol captain's eyelids twitched, he swallowed hard, and kicked the innkeeper away, yelling, "What nonsense are you spouting! Would Lord Feihan even look at your little shop? Even if he really burned your shop down, it would be because you've committed a grave mistake!"
"What? What about Lord Fei Han?" The innkeeper was lying on the side, completely bewildered.
People like them, who were nobody in the outer city, had never heard of the nobles in the inner city. Apart from knowing that there were witch doctors, beast kings, and elders in the inner city, they were completely excluded from the circle of the beast city.
The patrol captain sneered, "Lord Feihan is the successor to the witch doctor, the future witch doctor of Beast City!"
The hotel owner froze on the spot.
When those around Fei Han heard that she was the successor to the witch doctor, their gaze towards her turned to awe.
You have to understand that these orcs from the outer city are not qualified to see witch doctors. Even if they get sick, they can only suffer and die on their own. Now that they have suddenly met the future witch doctor candidate, some of them don't even believe it.
When they looked at the hotel owner again, their expressions all changed to a look of schadenfreude and gloating, as if to say, "You're finished."
"Lord Feihan, what should we do with this man? He dared to slander you! Just say the word and I will teach him a lesson!" The patrol captain bowed and scraped, trying to do Feihan a favor so that things would be easier for him in the future.
The innkeeper, realizing what had happened, scrambled to Fei Han's feet and cried pitifully, "Lord Fei Han, I was blind and didn't recognize your greatness! Please spare me! I beg you, please spare me!"
Fei Han glared at him, feeling disgusted by this kind of bully who preyed on the weak.
"I have young children to raise at home, I can't let anything happen to me!"
He cried pitifully, but most of the people present were male and showed no pity for the innkeeper, who was also male. The few females looked down on this weak male and their expressions were indifferent.
The only person in the entire room who felt sorry for him was Yu Wanwan.
She looked at the hotel owner, and seeing how pitiful he looked, a look of pity appeared on her face.
However, she wasn't the kind of naive and innocent person. If the innkeeper were truly a pitiful person, she might have asked Fei Han to let him go. But after spending time with him yesterday, Yu Wanwan realized that the innkeeper wasn't a good person. He looked down on the orcs from other tribes, and after his inn was damaged, he wanted to drag others down with him, using them, who were also victims, to compensate for his losses.
If Fei Han hadn't held a certain position in Beast City, she might have been bullied to death as an outsider.
So this time she didn't intend to speak, but simply held Fei Han's hand tightly, not intending to influence his decision, and let him handle the matter himself.
Like Mo Zhou and Bai Jing, Fei Han subconsciously didn't want to expose her cruel side to the easily swayed female.
He patted Yu Wanwan's head, then said to the patrol captain, "Deal with it as it is, regardless of what crime it is for slandering a nobleman."
"Huh?" The patrol captain was taken aback. He hadn't expected Fei Han to be so agreeable this time.
It's important to understand that the punishments for slandering a nobleman and slandering a witch doctor are vastly different.
His gaze unconsciously shifted to Yu Wanwan. Although the female was completely covered up, it was still clear from her eyes that she was a beautiful woman.
Seeing their hands clasped together, the patrol captain, being a male with a mate, quickly guessed Fei Han's intentions almost instantly.
"We will follow Lord Feihan's orders." The patrol captain bowed and then beckoned to the beastmen behind him, ordering them to drag the innkeeper away.
