A normal girl, Yu Wanwan, one day stepped onto the Beastmen Continent. Powerless, she decided to cling to the coattails of the Great White Tiger.
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Far...
The females were very excited about their first class and discussed it noisily.
They were like giant bees, buzzing incessantly, making Yu Wanwan's ears hurt.
She sat quietly in her seat, resting her chin on her hand, giving off a sense of being the only one sober in a world of drunks, making her seem quite out of place.
She didn't know how much time had passed when suddenly everything went quiet. Yu Wanwan looked up and saw a tall figure walk in from the cave entrance. Because he was backlit, Yu Wanwan couldn't see his face, but his flowing hair seemed to be glowing, which was very dreamlike.
Yu Wanwan rubbed her eyes, and the person walked from the cave entrance into the cave, finally able to see his appearance clearly.
So it was that dragon elder who looked like an old scholar.
He had long, flowing hair and a slender build, but his posture was upright, his back as straight as bamboo. Coupled with the dark green robe he was wearing today, he really did look like a bamboo spirit.
Yu Wanwan coughed awkwardly, feeling embarrassed for offending the teacher, and lowered her head.
Qinglu placed the bark on the table, glanced at the females present, and said with no emotion in his dark eyes, "Sit down."
His tone was serious and cold, which sounded very threatening. The usually pampered females subconsciously trembled and obediently sat in their seats.
Qinglu waved his hand, signaling the male dragons who were attending the class to distribute the bark.
In the end, Yu Wanwan got a piece of white stone in her hand, besides the tree bark. The stone was much softer and slippery than the other stones, and it was the talc used as chalk.
Qinglu picked up a piece of talc with his slender fingers, turned around and wrote a line on the blackboard that served as the mountain wall: "This line means the glory of the Beast God will last forever. Write this line down and I will teach the next section in the next lesson."
After he finished speaking, he waved his sleeve and disappeared from everyone's sight without even giving the females below a second glance.
Yu Wanwan's lips twitched. They just left like that? Less than five minutes into class, and the teacher's already gone?
This is way too casual!
Yu Wanwan sighed helplessly and began to learn to write.
She originally thought that the writing system in the Beast World was simplified Chinese, but the eight characters that Elder Qinglu was writing now were clearly different from simplified Chinese; they looked more like pictographs.
The teacher has left, and only the teaching assistant is left.
Several females surrounded the orc distributing bark, asking him all at once how to write this character and what that character meant.
The dragon beastmen answered all the questions earnestly, acting even more like teachers than the departing teacher.
He explained, "These are ancient scripts from the Orcish continent, predating simplified Chinese characters."
Upon hearing the words "simplified Chinese characters," Yu Wanwan instinctively perked up her ears.
The voice continued, "These ancient characters are the true script connecting us to the Beast God. Legend has it that these characters were created one by one by the Beast God and then passed down to..."
Yu Wanwan: "......"
Well, she thought she would hear something about the destined one, since simplified characters were brought to the orc continent by the destined one. But all this orc talked about was the ancient script and the great achievements of the beast god.
There wasn't much else to hear, so Yu Wanwan picked up a piece of talcum powder and began writing on the stone slab.
Although these characters are completely different from modern characters, it was no problem for Yu Wanwan. She memorized them after writing them a few times.
She put the talc aside, looked around at the females, and found that they seemed to be troubled by these characters. Some wrote them crookedly, some wrote the wrong strokes, and several of them didn't even know how to hold the talc or write it at all, sighing at the tree bark.
Alright then, since the teacher didn't set a time for the get out of class to end, and she's finished writing, she can go home now.
If we don't go back soon, it will be dark by the time she leaves.
With that thought in mind, Yu Wanwan cleaned up the tree bark and left the cave.
But what Yu Wanwan didn't know was that after she left, a female walked to her spot, saw the writing on her bark, carefully glanced around, and then picked up Yu Wanwan's bark and placed it on her own seat.
The dance class was held in another cave the next day, but it was also very far away.
Yu Wanwan was the first to set off and the last to arrive at the classroom. She found a seat in the corner of the classroom, panting.
As the saying goes, "An hour of exercise every day leads to a lifetime of happiness." She used to lack exercise, and she never imagined that she would achieve her goal of a healthy life in the Orc Continent.
Yu Wanwan rubbed her legs, and soon the instructor of the sacrificial dance came in.
The dance instructor was a slender and tall dragon-orc. He walked in and first introduced himself to everyone in a gentle manner. He then explained in great detail what the dance would entail, how long the training would take, and so on.
The orc who taught the dance was none other than Mu Lin.
Yu Wanwan listened from below, nodding repeatedly.
This teacher is much more normal; she left immediately after writing only a few words, as if they were a virus.
But Yu Wanwan didn't expect that this normalcy wouldn't last long.
The moment Mu Lin took off his clothes, everything started to go wrong.
Yu Wanwan's lips twitched as she watched, a big question mark appearing above her head.
The teacher, who had been gentle in demeanor, let out a low growl, threw aside his silk robe, revealing his muscular body. He was only wearing a piece of animal skin around his waist, which he claimed was to allow everyone to better observe the muscle movements during the dance.
