A normal girl, Yu Wanwan, one day stepped onto the Beastmen Continent. Powerless, she decided to cling to the coattails of the Great White Tiger.
Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. Far...
After seeing the witch doctor off, Lan Yin quickly tidied herself up and began to deal with the matters that had arisen over the past few days.
He sat at the table, holding the shark silk, and carefully read the text recorded on it.
An unusual surge of water appeared around them, and the next second, a round and cute face rose up from under the table.
Qingxun smiled sweetly, her dimples deep, and opened her arms in a gesture of asking for a hug: "Uncle, I've come to see you!"
Lan Yin was already used to her sudden appearance. She gently tapped her head and said helplessly, "It's so late, why aren't you going to sleep?"
Qingxun swam from the front of the table to the back and affectionately hugged Lanyin's arm: "I came to bring food to Uncle. You must be hungry after being away for so many days."
She opened her palm, and there lay a bright red fruit inside.
These fruits were obtained from the Bloodthirsty Beast Clan. I heard they are very delicious. Qingxun couldn't bear to eat them herself, but she gave them to Lanyin.
Lan Yin's eyelashes fluttered slightly. She calmly took the fruit from her hand and took a bite. "Uncle is sick. He has been staying in the palace for the past few days."
Qingxun snorted and stopped hugging him. She stepped back and looked him straight in the eye, saying, "Uncle is lying. I knew you weren't in the palace. I sneaked in to check a long time ago."
She pointed in a direction where there was a hidden little hole, the very passage through which Lanyin had secretly returned today.
Lan Yin rubbed her forehead, somewhat helpless.
Qingxun's observation skills are truly remarkable; she's young but incredibly perceptive, and nothing escapes her notice.
"Don't tell anyone." He put his index finger to his lips and gently shushed them.
Qingxun also shushed him, but said, "Then tell me, Uncle, where did you go to play? Why did you pretend to be sick?"
"I didn't go out to play; I went to do important things."
For Lan Yin, taking a bath is also an important matter, and he will do his best to fulfill any request from the little female.
"Uncle, I even covered for you in the lie, so I'm your accomplice now. You can't keep everything from me."
Qingxun used her charm, pulling Lanyin's hand and shaking it, pouting and looking at him expectantly.
No one could resist such a lovely female.
Lan Yin was also conflicted, but thinking of Yu Wanwan, she gritted her teeth and hardened her heart: "I can't tell you."
"I knew you wouldn't tell me." Qingxun let go of his hand, turned around and fiddled with something for a while, then suddenly took out a white silk dress: "Uncle, I've noticed something, it's a female's dress, did you sneak out for a female?"
Lan Yin's pupils contracted. He had indeed made a lot of clothes for the little female, but he had hidden them very well. He didn't expect Qing Xun to find them anyway.
"Qingxun, knowing this isn't good for you." His tone was somewhat serious, but he was always gentle and tolerant. He was only worried that Qingxun would be harmed if she knew about this, and he didn't blame her for touching his things.
Seeing that he did not refute, Qingxun became even more certain that it was because of a certain female.
Tossing her clothes aside, Qingxun looked at him expectantly: "Uncle, don't worry, I'll take good care of myself. Tell me quickly, which mermaid do you like? Are you two ready to get married? Am I going to have an aunt soon?"
Her uncle, though handsome and of high status, was clueless and still single at his age. Qingxun knew he was under a lot of pressure as the Fish King and had always hoped he could find a partner. Now that his dream had come true, how could she not be happy?
"I know you can protect yourself." The reason the elder liked her so much was not only because of the former mermaid king, but also because she herself was very smart and likable.
He noticed the clothes on the table, picked them up, unfolded them, and frowned, saying, "These aren't my clothes. Try some other clothes on me!"
During this period, there weren't many styles of clothing, and the beastmen hadn't discovered any materials that could be dyed, so the silk was all in its original color. Just now, Qingxun had grabbed this piece of clothing, but he was too nervous to look at it carefully. Only now did he realize that Qingxun had just grabbed a random piece of clothing.
Qingxun chuckled: "I had no other choice. Luckily, you're a kind person, Uncle, and you don't blame me for touching your things."
Her expression was lively and cunning, and Lan Yin sighed helplessly.
Oh well, she's already guessed most of it anyway, so there's no harm in telling her.
Lan Yin patted her head, her expression somewhat wistful: "She's not a mermaid."
If she were a mermaid, she wouldn't have to hide so desperately in the ocean now.
Lan Yin's expression gave Qing Xun a bad feeling. With a hint of disbelief, she asked, "Uncle, you wouldn't have fallen for a female member of the Hot-Blooded Beast Clan, would you?"
Lan Yin nodded.
Qingxun was stunned, as if struck by lightning. She sat on the table, her fishtail no longer swaying, and after a long while, she asked, "Then... what do you plan to do? Will the tribesmen accept it?"
She knew that her uncle was very stubborn, and once he made up his mind, he would never change it. So she didn't plan to persuade Lanyin to give up being female. Anyway, it would be useless to talk to him, and it would only make him more determined. So she might as well support him and help him to achieve his wish.
Lan Yin thought for a moment and said, "The little female is still adapting to the underwater environment, and I haven't proposed to her yet. I plan to bring her to the palace and make her my queen if she is willing to accept me. This will also let everyone know that the cold and hot races can live in harmony."
“But I think it’s very difficult.” It wasn’t that Qingxun was trying to discourage him, but since the Cold and Hot tribes broke apart, they had fought several wars, resulting in heavy casualties. Both sides harbored deep hatred for each other. Lanyin wanted to prove that the two tribes could make peace, which was a good idea, but the road ahead was truly long and arduous.
