"Don't be afraid, I'm here." Lan Yin put her arm around Yu Wanwan's waist and gently stroked her head from top to bottom.

Yu Wanwan closed her eyes, and her pounding heart, as if it had found a home, gradually calmed down.

She looked up and saw Lan Yin's fair and delicate chin. She opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, the elder swam over with a group of mermaids.

He had injuries on his face, from when he stopped Lan Yin.

He never expected that Lan Yin would be so bold as to attack him. He glared at her, pointing at Yu Wanwan, looking extremely fierce: "You still dare to protect this female! Hand her over right now!"

Lan Yin frowned and quickly hid Yu Wanwan behind her, adopting a protective stance: "Elder, she poses no threat to the merfolk."

Lan Yin noticed the little female's fear, so he gently patted her hand to reassure her.

Seeing that Lan Yin didn't react and even stood firmly with that hot-blooded beastman, the elder became even angrier. Pointing at the countless mermaids behind him, he said with a pained expression, "Your Majesty, have you forgotten our fallen comrades and our deep-seated hatred? Look at these mermaids, almost all of them have family members killed by the hot-blooded beastman. Are you still going to protect this female?"

Upon hearing this, the merfolk behind him all glared at him with hostility.

They couldn't kill the Bloodthirsty Beastmen for the time being, but a mere female, and in the ocean, was someone they could vent their anger on however they pleased.
