Yu Wanwan glanced at the tree, which was several stories high, and hugged the trunk tightly: "It's so tall, I can't run away even if I wanted to."

Hearing Yu Wanwan say that, Fei Han felt relieved.

He spread his arms, transformed back into his beast form, and soon disappeared without a trace.

When it returned, Feihan was carrying many branches of various sizes, lengths, and thicknesses in its beak.

He placed the thicker branches at the bottom, the thinner ones on top, and the medium-sized branches between the trunk and branches to secure them.

The shape looked somewhat familiar, and Yu Wanwan asked curiously, "Are you building a bird's nest?"

The giant red bird chirped twice, but Yu Wanwan didn't understand. Fei Han thought she did, and after finishing the batch in her hand, it flapped its wings and flew away again.

After going back and forth more than ten times, Fei Han finally finished building what she had set up.

Just as Yu Wanwan had predicted, it was indeed a bird's nest.

The round nest was built on the tree trunk. It was huge, with a thick twig at the bottom, soft dry grass inside, and a piece of animal skin on top.

Feihan used its beak to hold Yu Wanwan and put her into the nest. It then stood by the nest, looking at her with its round eyes, as if asking for praise.

Yu Wanwan was a little scared at first, but the nest cover was really good.

The bird's nest was very sturdy; even though she was a big person, it didn't shake at all when she sat inside.

The soft animal hide beneath my feet, perhaps because it was built from branches, gave the bird's nest a springy feel, much like a spring mattress.

Yu Wanwan really wanted to stand up and jump around a bit, but considering the height and the danger, she suppressed the idea.

It was Yu Wanwan's first time sleeping in a bird's nest, and she was very excited. She lay in the nest spread-eagled and praised without reservation: "Feihan, you are so amazing! This bed is so comfortable!"

"Chirp chirp." Fei Han chirped twice, raising its head with great pride.

Building nests is a specialty of birds; they will build the most comfortable and beautiful nests to win the favor of females.

In the Beast World, the male-to-female ratio is severely imbalanced. Every cub of the Dan Bird Clan is required from a young age to learn skills such as building and cooking to please females in order to better attract mates.

Fei Han transformed into human form and lay down next to Yu Wanwan.

Seeing this, Yu Wanwan quickly moved aside to make room for him.

The two lay side by side, gazing at the shimmering night sky.

Fei Han chuckled to herself as she pulled the animal skin over Yu Wanwan's head.

He quickly woke Yu Wanwan up and held her tightly in his arms.
