Another burst of rockets came down.

Most of these rockets were blocked by the shields.

The battering ram's speed was not affected in any way.

With a whoosh, the arrow flew at incredible speed!

Seeing the arrow hurtling towards him, Feng Huo Lian Cheng swiftly swung his scimitar and knocked it down.

At the city gate, battering rams pounded against the gate, sending splinters of wood flying from the vermilion doors.

Immediately afterwards, the sound of wood breaking came from behind.

"Quickly take some men to reinforce the gate. We absolutely cannot let the gate be broken down."

More than 100 imperial guards rushed down the city wall and headed straight for the main gate.

Inside the Imperial Study.

Qian Renxue's face turned deathly pale.

Rockets shot in from the top of the wall.

Many palace maids and eunuchs died under these rockets.

Some rockets hit the rooftops and immediately burst into flames.

The panicked eunuchs had to think about both saving their lives and putting out the fire.

The scene was chaotic.

"I really don't know where that kid Jiang Tian went." Lu Fang was pacing anxiously.

"That kid is so slow. We're in a real crisis, and we still don't know where he is."
