With a thud, the eunuchs all knelt down in front of Sheffield.

"Spare me!"

"We know nothing."

"We don't want to die, please spare us."

Sheffield, holding a pistol, pointed it at a eunuch's head: "Useless thing, you don't deserve to live."

With a snap.

Sheffield pulled the trigger.

The bullet blew the eunuch's head off.

The bullet pierced the eunuch's forehead, blowing off his skull.

With a thud, the eunuch fell backward to the ground, blood flowing from his head, quickly staining a large area red.

The other eunuchs were so frightened that they trembled all over and couldn't even speak.

"Where is the emperor?"

"Where in this palace is there anything valuable?"

“Tell me, and I may spare your lives.” Sheffield blew on the muzzle of his gun, and a wisp of smoke rose from it.

Upon hearing that they could live, the eunuchs quickly got up from the ground and dusted off their knees.

"Sir, do you want to know where the money is hidden? I'll take you there right now."

The eunuch stepped forward and led Sheffield's horse toward the treasury.

Sheffield was quite satisfied: "Take my men and pick out all the valuable things in the palace. I might spare your life and give you some rewards."

The eunuchs nodded excitedly.
