Chapter 133 Tsunami

First, I heard the familiar name "Yang Qi".

Then I saw what looked like Sun Muchen as a baby.

It was then discovered that the perspective in the dream was that of someone who appeared to be Sun Muchen's father.

Finally, he discovered that he looked exactly like the father of the man suspected to be Sun Muchen.

Wang Lan suddenly felt that her brain capacity was insufficient.

The scene then freezes on the moment when Sun Muchen's father looks in the mirror.

Wang Lan repeatedly went over the scene she had just seen.

But then he felt a throbbing pain in his face.

And each time it hurt more than the last.

Wang Lan suddenly opened her eyes.

The scene switched back to reality in an instant.

Sun Muchen was looking at him.

He himself was lying on the ground.

On one side is the vast, boundless sea, while the tree's enormous trunk has already sunk into the sea, its vines dance wildly in mid-air, and its treetops pierce the clouds, its leaves radiating a verdant light that illuminates even the dark clouds.

On the other side is a fault line in the mountain range that was broken off by a tree.

"Brother, you're awake!"

Seeing Wang Lan wake up, Sun Muchen was overjoyed. "You scared me to death! Your head was throbbing just now. If it weren't for this tree healing you with its mysterious green light, I think you would have died from the pain!"

"I..." Wang Lan felt a burning pain on both cheeks, but he had too many questions in his mind to care whether Sun Muchen had slapped him. He immediately asked, "Muchen, do you remember who Yang Qi is?"

"Yang Qi?" Sun Muchen was taken aback, then said, "Isn't that Aunt Yang?"

Upon hearing this, Wang Lan suddenly realized what was going on.

Isn't Yang Qi their adoptive mother, Aunt Yang who raised them from childhood?

It was because Wang Lan called her "Aunt Yang" so often that she couldn't remember her name for a moment.

"Why are you suddenly asking about Aunt Yang?" Sun Muchen asked curiously, but she was quick-witted and soon realized, "Did you dream again? Did you see Aunt Yang?"

As soon as she said this, the scene she had just seen suddenly flashed before her eyes again. The image of the baby in the capsule sleep pod flashed through Wang Lan's mind, and then she looked at Sun Muchen in front of her.

Isn't that baby just like Sun Muchen when he was a child?

"Uh... Bro, why are you looking at me like that?"

Sun Muchen felt a little guilty under Wang Lan's gaze, so he asked a question.

But Wang Lan had no idea what Sun Muchen was thinking, and she was about to tell Sun Muchen what she had just seen.

But just then, the tree made a sound.

"I sensed you were having a very complicated dream, but now is not the time for you to chat. Danger is approaching, prepare for battle!"

The voice sounded as if it were thunder, booming and deafening.

It also carried an air of solemnity, which compelled the brother and sister to listen attentively.

They turned their heads away.

In the distance, the sea was shrouded in churning, pitch-black clouds.

Purple lightning flashed incessantly through the dark clouds.

And below.

A wall of water slowly rose.

"It's a tsunami!"

Sun Muchen immediately spoke.

The tree said, "The attack from that mutation has begun. It has summoned the power of the sea. It's very powerful. Come to me quickly!"

As the voice spoke, vines stretched out from the clouds, intertwining and growing incredibly thick as they descended, resembling ladders to the sky, before finally landing on the ground.

Wang Lan and Sun Muchen immediately jumped up.

The vines rose off the ground, and the intense wind pressure exerted tremendous stress on the brother and sister.

Sun Muchen released a protective shield to block the wind pressure, and they finally felt much better.

They continued climbing upwards, and their colleagues stood up and gazed into the distance.

The wall of water in the distance was approaching at an extremely rapid speed; even from a great distance, it was clear that the wall of water had already risen very high.

The sea breeze blew by, and as the two ascended, the wind above them began to roar violently, as if explosions were constantly occurring around them.

Suddenly, they noticed that above them, in the dark clouds tinged with the color of emerald leaves, light was flashing continuously.

The brother and sister looked up.

"I'll provide you with weapons!"

The sound of the tree rang out, and then they saw a dense barrage of arrows shooting towards them, landing around the vines where the two were.

The tree said, "These arrows were made from my body and are quite powerful. Little girl, in a moment, you will imbue them with your energy, and when you shoot them, they will have a miraculous effect!"

Upon hearing this, Sun Muchen drew an arrow.

The arrow was unusually light, almost weightless, and the arrowhead was not sharp, but it seemed to be longer than a normal arrow.

Sun Muchen glanced at the arrows, then at the approaching tsunami, feeling the natural power contained within it. The terrifying pressure made her legs tremble slightly.

Sun Muchen swallowed hard, his face filled with disbelief, and asked, "Are you sure?"

"Huh... what do you mean?"

The tree clearly didn't understand.

Sun Muchen asked again, "Are you sure? You want me to use these wooden arrows to attack the tsunami?"

"Tsunamis are just one of its attack methods; that's my enemy. But your enemy is the monster hidden within the tsunami!"

Wang Lan frowned and couldn't help but ask, "What is that?"

"There's no time to explain!"

The sound of the tree suddenly rose several times higher, making the brother and sister feel uncomfortable all over.

"Prepare to ram!"
