"Yes!" Shen Nanxing nodded.

Jiang Nian'an removed the light shield, pulled Shen Nanxing along, and strode up to the man.

Upon seeing the two, the man's eyes flashed with terror, and he instinctively crawled away.

"Don't come any closer. Ask me anything you want, I'll tell you everything!"

The man's voice was shrill and pitiful, making Jiang Nian'an rub her ears and causing the grass behind the small mound in the distance to sway.

Jiang Nian'an and Shen Nanxing's eyes swept over instantly, "Come out!"

Shen Nanxing kicked a nearby stone into a small mound of earth.

The people hiding behind the small mound of earth saw that Jiang Nian'an and the other person had discovered them, so they stopped hiding and came out from behind.

There were four people in total.

Each person wore a pure black iron mask, completely obscuring their appearance.

"This guy has clearly done too many bad things and doesn't dare to show his true face to people."

Jiang Nian'an crossed her arms, leaned against Shen Nanxing, and chuckled.

The shortest of the four suddenly clenched his fist at his side, took a step forward, pointed at Jiang Nian'an, and said angrily, "You dare to—"

"Shut up!"

The leader turned around and shouted to stop him, "Don't forget our purpose, and don't waste your breath with words."

The shorter man snorted heavily and eventually retreated to his original position.

The leader took a few steps forward and his gaze fell on the man who was still struggling to climb elsewhere.

Then she looked at the man who had become a zombie and was still following behind the little zombie, a flash of murderous intent crossing her eyes.

Two idiots!

They were told to lure a mutated black bear to ambush Shen Nanxing and his group, but they failed to kill anyone, lost a bear, and almost had their secret exposed.

The leader twitched his fingers slightly, and a wooden needle as thin as a cow's hair shot towards the man crawling on the ground.

The fluctuations in the wood-elemental energy in the air immediately caught Jiang Nian'an's attention.

"To kill someone with wood-based abilities right under my nose, aren't you underestimating me too much!"

She flicked her finger lightly, cutting the wooden needle off.

The air in front of the man rippled, and with Jiang Nian'an's words, he instantly understood what was causing the ripples.
