The meal ultimately didn't happen; something went wrong in the container area.

Upon hearing the news, Shen Nanxing and Jiang Nian'an left in a hurry with Xiao Longzhan and Yunhua, without even saying goodbye to Ye Yun, who was still busy in the kitchen.

'roar--'

Before even reaching the container area, they could hear the roars of zombies coming from there. The military had already intervened, and each of the six companies had sent reinforcements.

Everywhere you look, there is chaos.

"How come there are so many zombies here?"

Yunfan gasped as he watched the zombies rushing out of the container area, a dense mass of them.

"ah!"

Screams erupted from the street next to the container area, and a mangled, bloodied figure stumbled out from around the corner.

He had only taken two steps when he was pounced on by a leopard that was entirely black.

The black panther bit off his neck, its scarlet eyes flashing with excitement, before it lowered its head and began to devour the corpse in front of everyone.

The blood instantly stained the street, but was immediately washed away by the torrential rain, leaving only a faint smell of blood in the air.

Xiao Longzhan suddenly sat up straight, sniffed the air carefully, and then climbed off Yun Fan and into Jiang Nian'an's arms.

[Sister, brother-in-law, there's that little black ball smell in the air!]

Jiang Nian'an and Shen Nanxing's gazes fell on the black panther.

'Roar~'

Two more enormous mutated wild boars charged out from behind the black panther, their mouths dripping with blood-red saliva, and headed straight for the soldiers who were fighting the zombies.

"An'an, wait for me in the car!"

After finishing his sentence, Shen Nanxing got out of the car and threw two bolts of lightning at the two mutated wild boars.

The mutated wild boar fell to the ground, drawing the attention of the black leopard that was gnawing on the carcass.

"An'an, let's go help too!"

Yunfan and Yunhua turned to Jiang Nian'an, said something, then opened the door, jumped out of the car, and rushed into the heavy rain without looking back.

"Sister, I want to go too!"

Xiao Longzhan licked his lips, a gleam of excitement in his eyes.

Jiang Nian'an didn't answer him immediately. She looked outside and nodded after finding that there was nothing in the vicinity that could endanger Xiao Longzhan's life.

"Go on, and stick with your brother-in-law."

"knew!"

A happy smile spread across Xiao Longzhan's face as he rushed out with the big iron hammer, shouting, "Brother-in-law, I'm here!"

Jiang Nian'an followed behind him, getting out of the car with an umbrella.

The black leopard and the two mutated wild boars were not the end, but the beginning.

More and more mutated animals rushed out of that street and pounced on the survivors.

The troops and the six families were caught in a pincer movement, and the situation was far from optimistic.

'Meow--'

A mutated cat burst out from among a group of large mutated animals, its sharp claws aimed straight for Jiang Nian'an's face.

Jiang Nian'an lashed out with her whip, sending it flying into the horde of zombies.

The zombies attacked indiscriminately, and the mutated cat, already dizzy from being whipped, was torn to shreds by the zombies.

"Sister An'an!" Luo Yue's voice rang out from not far away, filled with suppressed pain.

Jiang Nian'an looked up toward the source of the sound.

Luo Yue was soaked to the bone, and there was a deep wound on her right arm that was bleeding profusely.

She frowned slightly, walked over quickly, and casually pulled away the zombies that surrounded her.

"Come with me to the car, I'll treat your wound."

Jiang Nian'an took Luo Yue's hand and walked towards the car, asking her, "Where are Luo Yi and Chen Yang?"

How could they let Luo Yue fight alone in the horde of zombies?

"Neither of them knew I was coming. I...sneaked here myself."

"You came secretly?"

Jiang Nian'an glanced back at her, her eyes flashing with disapproval. "You're being too reckless."

In just two days, Luo Yue's strength had risen to level three.

Jiang Nian'an wasn't surprised, after all, the Luo family's strength was undeniable, and sending Luo Yue directly to level three was no problem at all.

However, an increase in superpower strength does not necessarily mean an increase in physical skills.

Luo Yue's reaction speed and combat ability are completely mismatched with her supernatural power.

Knowing she was in the wrong, Luo Yue lowered her head and remained silent, only following Jiang Nian'an towards the car.
