Nighthawk said in a low voice, "We can't get in. We tried."

"As soon as I entered the outer city, I felt something was amiss. I asked about the inner city, and then I was attacked that night."

Jiang Wenxi did not interrupt Ye Ying. He was not someone who would give up easily.

Nighthawk did not disappoint Jiang Wenxi. According to Nighthawk's narration, they acted separately and specially sent a group of people to disguise themselves and re-enter. He also tried to sneak in to investigate, but was discovered every time he entered the inner city.

"How was it discovered?"

Although I don't know much about Nighthawk, sneaking in won't lead to being discovered immediately.

Once or twice is an accident or bad luck, but more than once is not.

"I was discovered as soon as I entered the inner city. There weren't any investigators around, not even any sensor cameras. This is what I can't figure out."

Nighthawk couldn't figure it out, he even used black technology but it didn't work, some signal jammers

They had a feeling that something was wrong and that the second group of people didn't need to enter, but they refused to give up and ended up being surrounded as soon as they entered.

He attacked them without waiting for them to speak, leaving them no time to resist.

They couldn't be exposed and could only watch their teammates being captured.

Jiang Wenxi glanced at Ye Ying. No wonder he looked so haggard. He must be feeling uneasy.

"How many did you capture?"

"Five."

Nighthawk felt that even if the people were locked up, at most four would survive. At that time, one person resisted and was hit by a bullet.

Hearing this, Jiang Wenxi laughed sarcastically: "Mr. Qin, you knew there was a problem, but you still took on this mission. Just tell me how much benefit the Northwest Base gave you?"

"Human greed is like a snake swallowing an elephant."

Nighthawk was silent, and he seemed to agree with Jiang Wenxi's words. This was probably the reason why they didn't join any team. They were lone rangers, free and easy.

"We won't accept this mission."

Shen Yunchuan just raised his eyelids and did not stop him. Qin Yuchen fiddled with the ring on his hand faster.

Jiang Wenxi sighed: "It seems that I can't tell you this. Wait until I find out the truth. Don't come to me for help then."

Qin Yuchen and Ye Ying looked up at Jiang Wenxi.

Nighthawk spoke first: "You agreed?"

Shen Yunchuan scolded lightly: "Xixi, stop messing around."

"Brother Chuan, don't worry. I won't do anything rash. I'll go to the base and ask about it later."

It's rather strange that there is a connection between the bases; they must be informing each other.

The light in Nighthawk's eyes faded. In fact, he really wanted to go again, even if it meant a gunfight, to rescue the people, but their boss had given an order that no one was allowed to go back.

If Jiang Wenxi goes, he can find a reason to follow her.
