The closer they got to the center of the ruins, the stronger the strange feeling became. Strangely, the zombies seemed to be afraid of something and didn't approach the area. This made the journey for Xiao Yi and Lili Xiao Yuri much easier.

Finally, they arrived at the heart of the ruins, where a tall tower emanated a faint light, seemingly the source of that strange power.

The three companions approached the tower cautiously. Xiao Yi suddenly discovered that there were some ancient runes engraved on the tower wall. He had seen these runes in an ancient book that recorded some ancient sacrifices and summoning techniques.

"Lili, come and take a look at these runes. Have you seen them before?" Xiao Yi whispered, "Lili, look around to see if there are any other clues."

Little Yuri approached the tower, frowning as he observed the runes. "These are summoning runes," Xiao Yi said in a deep voice, "but I don't know what they are used to summon."

"So what should we do now?" Li Li asked in a low voice, "Go directly into the tower? Or try to find other clues?"

Xiao Yi glanced at Yuri and Lili, "I think we should find other clues first. If we go directly into the tower, we might trigger some kind of mechanism or trap."

Then, everyone began searching around the tower. Soon, they discovered a broken stone tablet. The tablet was also engraved with ancient text. This time, however, the text mentioned a being called the "Ancient Guardian."

"I think we need to find this 'ancient guardian'." Xiao Yi said in a deep voice, "According to the information on the stele, it may know the secrets of this ruin and the tower."

Yuri and Lili looked at each other and nodded. "Then let's split up and search," Yuri suggested. "Lili and I will continue searching for clues near the tower, and Xiao Yi, you go look elsewhere."

Xiao Yi nodded, and started to act separately with Yuri and Lili.

An hour later, Xiao Yi discovered an ancient altar on the other side of the ruins. On the altar sat an ancient rune stele. He walked over and took a closer look, noticing a faint golden light flickering from the stele.

At this time, Yuri and Lili also discovered the existence of the altar and the stone tablet. They came together and carefully examined the stone tablet.

"This runestone seems to be used to summon the 'Ancient Guardian'." Yuri said in a deep voice, "But I don't know how to activate it."

Xiao Yi looked at the runes on the stone tablet and fell into deep thought. "I think I know how to activate it." He whispered, "We need to touch the runes on this stone tablet in a certain order."

Yuri and Lili exchanged a glance, then began to touch the rune stele as Xiao Yi instructed. When their fingers touched the last rune on the stele, it suddenly emitted a strong light. Then, a huge black hole rapidly expanded in front of them, and an ancient giant emerged from it—the "ancient guardian" they were looking for.

The ancient giant was eight feet tall, covered in scale armor, and holding a huge sword. He looked mighty and domineering. As soon as he appeared, the atmosphere around him suddenly became oppressive.

"You are finally here." The ancient giant's voice was low and majestic. "I have been waiting for a long time."

Xiao Yi and the other two looked at the ancient giant nervously, their hearts filled with curiosity and vigilance. What was the origin of this ancient giant? Why did he appear in these ruins? What was his relationship with that strange power?

"What are you doing here?" The ancient giant looked at Xiao Yi, who was alone with two cats, and asked in a deep voice, "Do you know the secret of this ruin?"

Xiao Yi frowned, knowing that this ancient giant was not simple. He decided to test the ancient giant's strength first, and then wait for an opportunity to act.

"We just happened to get here." Yuri said, quietly releasing his own supernatural power. He was ready to use his supernatural power to control the ancient giant when necessary.

Lili also quietly released her own special abilities, ready to assist Yuri if necessary. The specific effects of the power they radiated were still unknown. After all, Xiao Yi had almost never used them in battle to protect little Yuri and Lili. Previously, when they were alone, they had cooperated well.

"It's dangerous for you to be here." The ancient giant looked at the two of them and said lightly, "This is not the place for you to come."

After saying that, he suddenly rushed towards Xiao Yi. Seeing the huge sword blade slashing towards Xiao Yi's face, a powerful force emanated from the sword, distorting the surrounding space.

Yuri and Tanuki were horrified, having never imagined the ancient giant could be so formidable. Without a second thought, they immediately unleashed their powers. Yuri's power briefly controlled the ancient giant's movements, while Tanuki's moistened the surroundings, allowing them to breathe.

Seeing this, Xiao Yi immediately understood Yuri and Lili's intentions. He took the opportunity to attack the ancient giant and used his special ability to break the ancient giant's defense.

This round of attacks caught the ancient giant off guard. His body was controlled by Yuri's supernatural power and he couldn't move. The surrounding environment became humid. He had to fight against the attacks of Xiao Yi and the two cats with all his strength.

After a fierce battle, Xiao Yi and Xiao Yuli Lili finally defeated the ancient giant. They gasped and looked at the ancient giant lying on the ground, their hearts filled with joy and a sense of accomplishment.

"You win." The ancient giant fell to the ground and said calmly, "But do you know who I am?"
