This was Yu Wei's first visit to the Supernatural Research Institute. Although Yu Wei had heard Xiao Yi, Professor Zhao, and even Ye Ming mention this place more than once, she had never been there.

This place is considered the most privileged place besides the research institute. The selection process was nearly universal. The previous missions were also completed with flying colors. Yu Wei had originally wanted to discuss solutions to the zombie fission problem with Wu Jie, but unexpectedly, the world had undergone another drastic change. Judging from the current situation, it probably wouldn't be necessary.

At the heart of this base, a "skyscraper" towers among the numerous buildings, like a silent giant guarding the city's secrets. This is the location of the Supernatural Research Institute, currently China's largest official base, a place known as the "Palace of Science."

The first time Yu Wei entered the building, she was filled with awe and curiosity. Rumors spread that it was a place of wisdom and wonder. Upon entering the building, Yu Wei was immediately drawn to the large reception desk. Behind it was a massive LCD screen displaying complex charts and data. Below the screen were rows of computers, neatly arranged like a group of dormant spirits, waiting to be awakened.

Yu Wei, led by Xiao Yi, passed through the security gate and walked into the interior of the building. The atmosphere here was completely different from that of ordinary scientific research institutions. Although it was full of equipment that looked very "high-tech", it did not have that cold feeling. On the contrary, the first impression here was that although it had a heavy metallic feel, the atmosphere was very harmonious.

In this special place, everyone is unique. Some are defenders, some are warriors... no matter what special abilities they possess, they can all find their place and realize their value.

Led by Xiao Yi, they carefully closed the door, ensuring it was silent. After entering the house, Xiao Yi tried to contact Fan Zun using the communication device. But there was still no response. Unsure if there was a new psychic here, Xiao Yi did not dare to release his psychic ability rashly.

After Xiao Yi settled Yu Wei down, he solemnly reminded her not to open the door no matter who she met. His resolute gaze and unquestionable tone made Yu Wei feel a little nervous and serious. She silently took note of his instructions and nodded.

Then, Xiao Yi flashed to Fan Zun's door at a dazzling speed. His figure blurred slightly in the air, as if he had passed through the barrier of space and appeared at the other end in an instant. This strange scene made Yu Wei feel a little surprised and awed.

Xiao Yi was also a little nervous. He carefully released his psychic powers, exploring and checking Fan Zun's room in a small area. The moment the door opened, Xiao Yi and Fan Zun's eyes met. They smiled knowingly at each other, as if all the hardships and searches had been rewarded at this moment. Fan Zun looked at Xiao Yi with eyes full of gratitude and respect. Xiao Yi also knew that if it weren't for these loyal friends, he might not be able to escape those temptations and lose his true heart.

Xiao Yi also looked at Fan Zun, his heart filled with comfort and respect. He knew that Fan Zun was a person worthy of trust and reliance. He believed that in the days to come, Fan Zun would definitely bring more help and support to their careers.

Their eyes met for a moment, then they turned and walked back into the room. They knew the road ahead was long, but they had the confidence and determination to face all challenges and difficulties. They believed that as long as they stood united, nothing could stop them from moving forward.
