Xiao Yi and his group struggled forward in the rain. Bean-sized raindrops fell cracklingly, soaking their clothes and hair.

As they walked, they carefully explored their surroundings. Xiao Yi scanned the surroundings with sharp eyes, not missing any potentially useful clues. His teammates also performed their duties, some watching for places to shelter from the rain, while others were searching for items that could be used as weapons or tools.

The mountain road after the rainstorm was like a muddy swamp. The once solid ground had become soft and rotten, and the mud mixed with rainwater formed puddles of muddy mud.

With every step, my feet sank deeper, as if gripped by an invisible hand, requiring immense effort to pull out. The mud seemed to have a sticky quality, clinging tightly to my shoes and making my steps incredibly heavy.

On the slopes of the mountain road, rainwater gathered into turbulent streams, rushing down the terrain. The water, mixed with mud, sand, and rocks, washed over the road, making the already rugged path even more bumpy. In some places, deep gullies appeared, making it easy to slip and fall.

The grass along the roadside was also beaten here and there by the rain, sticking to the ground wetly, and water droplets would splash from time to time. The stones and branches hidden in the grass became particularly dangerous at this moment, and if you were not careful, you would trip or get scratched.

Some of the larger rocks had become slippery, covered in a thin layer of mud, making it impossible to stand firmly. Walking on such a mountain road, one had to remain vigilant at all times and carefully look for a place to rest.

The air was filled with the smell of damp and earth, creating a feeling of oppression and discomfort. The distant peaks, shrouded in mist and hazy, added a sense of mystery and danger. Every step forward was filled with trepidation, as if something unexpected might happen at any moment. The long mountain road now seemed like an insurmountable chasm, filled with endless challenges and dangers.

The rain blurred their vision, but they did not stop because they knew that in such an environment, they had to find a safe place as soon as possible, otherwise they would face more dangers.

"Look, there seems to be a cave over there!" a team member suddenly shouted.

Xiao Yi looked in the direction he pointed, and indeed saw a faint cave not far away. They excitedly quickened their pace and walked towards the cave, hoping to find a temporary shelter there to avoid the heavy rain and explore further.

Just as they were moving towards the dawn with great anticipation, they were attacked by some mutant creatures without any warning.

These mutant creatures had strange shapes and emitted a disgusting smell. They pounced on them from all directions. Xiao Yi and the others instantly entered combat mode, holding their weapons tightly in their hands, their eyes full of vigilance.

The battle was imminent and intense. Xiao Yi nimbly dodged the mutants' attacks while swinging his sword, slashing at them fiercely. His teammates, unwilling to be outdone, each unleashed their own unique abilities in a desperate struggle against these formidable enemies. In that mysterious and dangerous area, the various mutants displayed shocking supernatural powers.

A mutated creature seemed wrought of metal, its entire body gleaming with a cold golden light, its steel-like body gleaming in the sunlight. As it moved, its metallic limbs collided with the ground, making a dull clang, as if it could easily crush any obstacle that stood in its way. Its attacks were like a sharp golden sword, easily slicing through rock and tree.

Not far away, a mutated creature was engulfed in flames. Its body seemed the embodiment of fire, dancing with dancing flames. Wherever it passed, the air was scorched and distorted, and the ground was charred black. It could spew a blazing pillar of fire from its mouth, instantly reducing anything that dared approach to ash.

Another mutant seemed to merge with the water. Its body took on a flowing liquid form, transparent and shimmering with a blue light. It could walk on the water as if it were flat ground, manipulating the current to form vortices and water blades, with powerful impact and cutting force.

A mutant creature, seemingly born from the earth, its body as hard and heavy as rock. It can manipulate earth and stone, causing the ground to tremble. It can summon massive earth walls to defend against attacks, and can also suddenly send spikes from the ground to attack enemies.

Deep within the forest, a mutant creature shrouded in a green glow, seemingly representing the vital element of wood. Its limbs could stretch and twist like branches, spawning massive vines to attack and bind, possessing immense vitality and resilience.

These mutant creatures with different superpowers such as gold, wood, water, fire and earth form a strange and terrifying picture on this land. Each of them relies on its unique ability to make this area full of danger and unknown.

The cries of killing and the roars of mutant creatures intertwined, echoing in the rain. Blood splattered in the rain, staining the land red. Every one of Xiao Yi and his men was fighting desperately, knowing that if they were not careful, they might die here.

Xiao Yi stood there, surrounded by blazing flames, his eyes fixed on the huge water-type mutant python in front of him.

The python twisted its thick and wet body, slid on the ground, bringing up patches of water. It opened its bloody mouth, made a hissing sound, and sprayed clouds of cold water mist from its mouth.
