(Apocalypse + Rebirth + Space + Hoarding + Ruthless Character + Golden Finger)
Xiao Yi, a ruthless King of Soldiers who struggled for five years in the apocalypse, was betrayed by his comrade...
A faint green light began to emanate from his palm, gradually spreading to the nearby branches. Emerald green leaves detached from the branches and slowly floated down into his hand.
He carefully selected the leaves, each one of moderate size and perfect shape. After choosing, he carefully held the leaves in his hands and began to walk along the path that everyone had walked.
Every time he walked a distance, he would squat down and gently place the leaves on the ground. His movements were gentle and precise, for fear of damaging the leaves or placing them in the wrong place.
The leaf lay quietly on the ground, like a unique mark, standing out in this somewhat monotonous environment. He had carefully chosen the location of the leaf to ensure that it could be clearly seen by those behind him.
As they continued to advance, more and more leaf markings appeared on the road. They were like a green thread, winding and stretching into the distance. Sometimes, when they came to a fork in the road, he would place a few more leaves to indicate different directions.
The others watched him quietly as he did all this, a sense of security welling up in their hearts. It was as if with these leaf markings, they would no longer be easily lost, having a reliable guide. The wood-type psychic, on the other hand, continued his marking work with complete concentration, beads of sweat gradually oozing from his forehead. He remained focused and diligent, striving to create a clear and visible "road sign" for everyone.
They walked tirelessly, time slipping away bit by bit as their footsteps alternated. After a few hours, they all felt noticeably tired, and their steps gradually became heavier.
When they saw the familiar leaf mark on the ground again, an ominous premonition came over them. They continued walking forward and found that behind the leaf was another leaf, and behind that was another leaf, and so on, the leaf marks formed a complete circle.
They stood there in a daze, their eyes filled with astonishment and disbelief. They had always thought that they could not go wrong by following the leaf markings, but now this cruel reality made them feel extremely frustrated and confused.
Some people began to walk around anxiously, muttering, "How could this happen, how could this happen..." Some people looked at the circle of leaves with a blank look on their faces, as if they could not understand what was happening before their eyes.
Xiao Yi frowned and glanced around, trying to find some other clues. His face was gloomy and his heart was full of regret. They had actually gone around in a circle without realizing it, and they were still unaware of it.
Everyone looked at each other, exhaustion and despair spreading through the crowd. The leaf markings that were supposed to guide them now seemed like a giant joke, mocking their efforts and perseverance.
They looked at the circle of leaves, as if they saw the futility of their efforts over the past few hours, and a sense of loss washed over them like a tide. At this moment, they were like people trapped in a maze, unable to find the exit, and could only wander and be confused in this endless cycle.
After a moment of silence, someone's eyes finally flashed with realization, followed by shock and panic.
His lips trembled slightly, and with a barely perceptible tremor in his voice, he said, "Could it be...could it be that we haven't completely left the illusion yet?"
As soon as these words were spoken, it was like a bombshell exploding in the crowd. Everyone was stunned at first, and then expressions of astonishment appeared on their faces.
Some people began to look around. The environment they had thought they were familiar with now seemed unfamiliar. The outlines of the trees seemed to have a vague pattern, yet it was elusive, as if they were hiding unknown secrets.
Everyone's breathing quickened, the uneasiness they had just let go of quickly spreading back. Some people's eyes began to turn hazy, as if they were trying to recall their experiences, trying to find any clues that they were still in this illusion.
Xiao Yi's face turned extremely ugly. He gritted his teeth and thought quickly in his mind. He recalled the strange feelings that he had felt along the way, and it suddenly dawned on him that all this was not real.
Everyone looked at each other, their eyes filled with deep fear and helplessness. They had thought they had escaped the shackles of the illusion, but unexpectedly, they were still trapped within it. This blow was difficult for them to accept for a while.
The air was filled with tension, and everyone was secretly asking themselves: "How can we truly leave this horrible illusion?" The feeling of despair hung over everyone's hearts like a dark cloud, lingering.
Outside that mysterious illusion stood several people who had learned some of the art of Qimen Dunjia. Their faces were solemn, their eyes fixed on the dreamlike area before them.
The leader was named Lu Li. He was tall, his eyes revealing determination and courage. Lu Li took a deep breath, and began to dance slowly with his hands, muttering something, trying to mobilize the spiritual power in his body to perceive the structure and flaws of the illusion.
Beside him stood a woman named Zi Yuan. She was lithe, her long purple dress fluttering in the wind. Zi Yuan formed complex hand seals with her hands, faint rays of light flickering at her fingertips. She closed her eyes tightly, concentrated her mind, and extended her thoughts toward the illusion.
The other man, Mo Feng, was thin, but his eyes gleamed with cunning. He pulled several ancient runes from his pocket, muttering an obscure incantation, and tossed them into the air. The runes spun and danced in the air, emitting strange vibrations, attempting to explore the secrets of the illusion.
Lu Li was the first to act. He took a sudden step forward, thrusting his hands forward, sending a powerful spiritual energy beam towards the illusion. However, the illusion was like a giant sponge, easily absorbing the spiritual energy beam without a ripple.
