The city streets became deserted, the former bustling bustle vanishing in an instant. Shops closed, schools suspended, and factories halted operations. The entire world seemed to have been paused, plunging into a dead silence. Yet, the virus showed no sign of stopping, continuing its relentless march to consume every corner and every life.

Under the impact of the disaster, social order crumbled in an instant, like a fragile sand sculpture vulnerable to the pounding of surging waves. The once orderly rhythm of life was completely disrupted, and people's inner defenses collapsed with it.

Absolute panic spread like a plague, enveloping everyone. Chaos descended upon everyone, and once-familiar rules and laws no longer held any sway. The streets were thronged with panicked people, jostling and shoving each other, searching for a glimmer of hope for survival.

In the blink of an eye, the city was reduced to a living hell. Every street and every building was filled with the smell of death. Zombies were rampant, their twisted figures moving through the streets and alleys, emitting blood-curdling roars. These once human bodies, now corrupted by the virus, have become walking corpses that only care about flesh and blood.

The stench of blood hung heavy in the air, lingering for a long time. Screams echoed throughout the city. Tragedy unfolded in every corner. Zombies pounced on people, instantly mauled to a bloody pulp. Others desperately ran, only to be mercilessly captured and devoured by the zombies.

Blood stained the ground, and severed limbs were everywhere. Once-warm homes had been transformed into bloody slaughterhouses, each filled with despair and fear. Children, deprived of their parents' protection, cried in fear; the elderly, powerless to resist, could only await death in despair. The city, once brimming with life and hope, was now a silent ruin, filled with endless pain and despair.

At the moment the apocalypse broke out, the whole world seemed to be thrown into an endless dark abyss, but Xiao Yi showed extraordinary calmness and decisiveness.

Without the slightest hesitation or panic, he quickly loaded the already sorted and categorized supplies onto the pre-modified and reinforced vehicle. The brimming supplies carried his hope for survival and his expectations for the future.

Xiao Yi started the car, the roar of the engine standing out against the chaotic streets. He stared straight ahead with a determined gaze, his hands firmly gripping the steering wheel. The streets were jammed with screaming people and out-of-control vehicles. But Xiao Yi, relying on his excellent driving skills and familiarity with the road conditions, nimbly navigated the traffic.

The car struggled forward in the chaos, with zombies occasionally rushing towards the car window, their hideous faces and twisted limbs terrifying. Xiao Yi's face was solemn, and he stepped on the accelerator, leaving behind the zombies that tried to stop him.

Finally, he broke out of the city's congested area and drove onto the road leading to the remote mountainous area. The road was bumpy and full of potholes, but Xiao Yi had no intention of slowing down. The wheels kicked up clouds of dust and the car body was shaking violently, but his determination never wavered.

Along the way, Xiao Yi's nerves were always tense, paying attention to everything around him. He didn't dare to slack off, because he knew that any slight negligence could lead to fatal consequences.

As he got further and further away from the city, the surrounding scenery became more and more desolate. But Xiao Yi's heart was full of hope. He firmly believed that in that remote mountainous area, he could open up a piece of pure land for survival with his own preparation and hard work.

Xiao Yi drove the car, speeding on the desolate road of doomsday. His eyes kept scanning the surroundings, always keeping a high level of vigilance.

Along the way, zombies appeared from time to time. Some staggered in the middle of the road, while others suddenly jumped out from the ruins on the roadside. Xiao Yi carefully controlled the speed of the car, skillfully bypassing the slow-moving zombies. Every time a zombie approached the car, his heart would suddenly tighten, but he would quickly calm down and swerve to avoid it.

Besides zombies, the road was also filled with various dangers. Abandoned vehicles lay in a chaotic manner, forming obstacles. Xiao Yi had to drive carefully, looking for narrow gaps to pass through. If he was not careful, the vehicle might get stuck.

There was also the huge crack caused by the earthquake, which was bottomless and seemed to swallow everything. Xiao Yi observed the road surface intently, braked in time when approaching the crack, and then slowly went around it.

Finally, after a long search, he found a hidden cave on the side of a high mountain. The entrance was hidden by dense vegetation and difficult to find without careful observation. A relieved smile appeared on Xiao Yi's tired face. He knew that this might be his temporary shelter in this apocalyptic world.

The cave Xiao Yi discovered was located in a dangerous place. It was located halfway up a mountain. On one side was a steep cliff, bottomless and shrouded in mist, making it a daunting sight. On the other side was a steep slope with jagged rocks, almost vertical, making climbing extremely difficult.

The entrance to the cave is narrow, barely wide enough for one person to pass through while bending over, and is completely obscured by the surrounding thorns and vines. From a distance, it almost blends in with the mountain, making it difficult to detect.
