Chapter 675: The Blade is Unsheathed 5

In the store, goods were thrown everywhere and zombies were running around looking for prey.

The entire area was immersed in chaos and despair. These mutated zombies were like a storm of destruction, ruthlessly destroying everything.

The appearance of the mutated zombies was like a blockbuster bomb, instantly triggering huge panic among the crowd.

The once bustling streets were instantly plunged into chaos. People's attention was drawn to these hideous, distorted monsters, and fear spread through their bodies like an electric current.

The pedestrians stopped abruptly, their expressions instantly shifting from initial confusion to utter terror. Their eyes widened, filled with fear of the unknown and death. Their mouths opened wide enough to fit a fist, but no complete sound escaped, only short, sharp screams escaping their throats.

Mothers hugged their children tightly and squeezed into the crowd, trying to find a safe corner. The children were frightened and cried loudly, their faces turned pale with fear.

Office workers dropped their documents and backpacks and desperately ran in all directions, stumbling, pushing and trampling each other, just to get away from the terrifying mutant zombies.

Car drivers honked their horns frantically, trying to break through the congested roads, but vehicles collided with each other, and traffic was completely paralyzed. Some people were trapped in their cars, desperately banging on the windows, watching the mutant zombies getting closer and closer.

The street vendors didn't bother to pack up their stalls and ran away. Fruits and vegetables rolled all over the ground and were trampled to pieces by people's panicked footsteps.

Inside the mall, people were running around like headless flies. Shelves were knocked over, merchandise scattered across the floor, and people bumped into each other and fell in the chaos. Some were pushed to the ground, and before they could even get up, they were trampled by the crowd rushing in from behind.

Inside the school, students in class heard the commotion outside, and panic quickly spread. Teachers tried to maintain order, but faced with such overwhelming fear, they felt powerless. Students cried and screamed, rushing to corners of the classroom or windows, seeking hope of escape.

People relaxing in the park also fell into extreme panic. Couples ran hand in hand, and the elderly followed closely behind them, panting. The originally relaxed and happy atmosphere was instantly replaced by fear.

The entire city seemed to have been thrown into chaos, with desperate cries and helpless sobs filling every corner. The appearance of mutant zombies plunged this once peaceful world into a terrifying abyss.

The city was completely plunged into chaos under the rampage of mutant zombies.

In the streets and alleys, people were running around like frightened birds. Some, in a panic, bumped into walls, fell to the ground, and then hurriedly got up and continued running; others were unaware that their shoes had slipped away, running barefoot on the gravel and debris-strewn roads.

A mother clutched her young child tightly, shouting her name as she ran, her voice hoarse with fear. A young couple, hand in hand, desperately tried to navigate the crowd, their eyes filled with despair and helplessness.

However, no matter how hard people tried to escape, they could not escape the pursuit of these terrible creatures.

The mutated zombies moved through the crowd at an alarming speed, their twisted bodies and sharp claws like a symbol of death. Their howls echoed over the city, making people's heartbeats even faster.

Some people fled into narrow alleys, thinking they could avoid being hunted, but found that the zombies easily squeezed in, blocking their retreat. Others rushed into high-rise buildings, trying to find a safe hiding place, but the zombies climbed up the stairs and outer walls, leaving them no chance to breathe.

Public transportation hubs were packed with people trying to flee the city. On train and bus platforms, crowds jostled, shoved, and even trampled. Even when people managed to board a vehicle, the mutated zombies would quickly pounce, overturning it and dragging the people out.

Some people drove their cars at high speed on the road, recklessly crashing into the obstacles in front of them. However, the road was blocked and the vehicles could not move quickly, and the zombies soon caught up with them, broke the windows, and dragged the people out to bite them.

Every corner is filled with desperate cries and miserable screams. This once prosperous city has now turned into a hell on earth. People are struggling in fear, but can never escape the threat of death that follows them like a shadow.

The shadow of death is like thick ink, mercilessly permeating every corner of the world, immersing every inch of land in suffocating fear.

The city streets were no longer bustling with activity, but now dead and desolate. Abandoned vehicles lay scattered about, some still burning, billowing black smoke. Buildings lay in ruins, their windows shattered and walls covered in blood and scratches.

In the park, the once lush trees have now turned yellow and withered, the grass has been trampled beyond recognition. The amusement park, once filled with laughter and joy, is now silent, the Ferris wheel has stopped turning, and the carousel has fallen to the ground.

In the countryside, crops lie unharvested and rot in the fields. Farmhouses, their doors and windows shut, yet desperate cries can still be heard from within. Livestock run wild, nowhere to find a safe haven.

At school, unfinished writing still lingered on the blackboards, but the desks and chairs had been toppled over. The playground was deserted, with only scraps of paper and garbage drifting in the wind.

Inside the hospital, medical equipment was scattered across the floor, and the ward was filled with the smell of death. Doctors and nurses had long since disappeared, leaving only the groaning patients in pain, awaiting their unknown fate.
