(Apocalypse + Rebirth + Space + Hoarding + Ruthless Character + Golden Finger)
Xiao Yi, a ruthless King of Soldiers who struggled for five years in the apocalypse, was betrayed by his comrade...
Officials organized a massive evacuation operation to bring survivors displaced by the disaster to shelters in an orderly manner. Even before the first rays of morning sun had fully penetrated the clouds, convoys of armored vehicles, trucks, and ambulances were ready to go. The uniformed rescue workers wore solemn yet resolute expressions, fully aware of the enormity and importance of the mission. Within the devastated area, volunteers crisscrossed the rubble, calling out, searching for survivors. Their voices were hoarse but powerful, "Don't be afraid, everyone! We're here to take you to safety!" With each survivor they found, they offered comfort and encouragement, helping them pack their simple belongings. Children were carried into vehicles, their frightened eyes gradually calmed by the warm smiles of the rescue workers. Elderly people, supported by their vehicles, slowly but surely walked towards hope. As the convoy traveled along the bumpy road, the desolate landscape outside the windows shone brightly, yet within, a vibrant and hopeful atmosphere filled the vehicles. Medical staff monitored the survivors' well-being and provided basic treatment to the injured. At each assembly point, more survivors joined. The procession grew larger, yet order remained unwavering. People helped and cared for one another, without quarreling or chaos. When roads were blocked along the way, engineering teams quickly dispatched to clear the obstacles and ensure smooth passage for the convoy. Facing inclement weather, everyone worked together to weather the storm. After a long journey, the outline of the shelter finally came into view. At that moment, tears of excitement welled in everyone's eyes. The convoy slowly pulled in, and the shelter's doors opened to welcome these survivors who had endured such hardships. Staff were already waiting, guiding the survivors to their respective areas, arranging shelters for them, and distributing food and water. "Welcome home!" These three simple words filled every survivor's heart with warmth and emotion. In this land ravaged by natural disasters, they had finally found a safe haven.
Xiao Yi's base also received the notice, and everyone began packing their bags, preparing to depart for the new refuge. Standing in the center of the base, Xiao Yi loudly announced the news, his voice firm and powerful: "Friends, we have new hope! Everyone, hurry up and pack your things, get ready to go!" Everyone immediately sprang into action, faces lit with anticipation and excitement. Inside, clothes were quickly folded and placed into backpacks, while precious photos and small items were carefully wrapped. Children frantically stuffed their toys into their schoolbags, not forgetting to take their favorite storybooks. The adults meticulously packed whatever food and water they could find, ensuring they had enough for the journey. An elderly man sat by the bed, stroking his cane, tears welling in his eyes. He gently placed his wife's belongings in his arms. A young man beside him helped him tuck in his blankets, soothing him, "Grandpa, we're in a new place, life will be better." In the warehouse, Xiao Yi busily sorted through tools and remaining supplies, selecting items he might need and sorting them into packages. The women bundled their pots and pans, muttering, "We can't leave these behind! We'll need to cook when we get there." Some checked vehicles to ensure they were safe for travel; others fed the livestock, preparing to take them away. The base was bustling with activity, but everyone's heart was filled with anticipation for the future. When everything was ready, everyone, their bags on their backs, stood at the base's gate, gazing back at the place where they had once lived, and then resolutely embarked on a new journey, heading towards a hopeful refuge.
Despite the numerous difficulties along the way, hope never faded in the people's eyes. The road was bumpy, and the vehicles jolted forward, raising clouds of dust. Suddenly, a huge rock loomed in the middle of the road, blocking the convoy's path. The men jumped out of their cars, rolled up their sleeves, and worked together to push the rock away. Sweat soaked their clothes, but their cries grew louder. Dark clouds gathered in the sky, and soon, large raindrops fell in torrents. The rain lashed at the people's faces, blurring their vision, but no one stopped; instead, they quickened their pace. "Be careful! The bridge ahead looks like it's collapsed!" someone shouted. Everyone's heart leaped to their throats. Rushing to the bridge, they gazed at the raging river and fell into a brief silence. However, someone quickly suggested a detour. Although it would increase the journey, everyone adjusted their direction without hesitation. As night fell, the temperature plummeted, and the wind biting. People huddled in their cars, huddling together for warmth. Children drifted off to sleep in their mothers' arms, while the adults whispered to each other, sharing their hopes for the future. "As long as we can get to the shelter, everything will be fine," an elderly man's voice echoed through the darkness, bringing a wave of warmth to everyone. Another morning, a vehicle broke down, and repair tools were insufficient, leaving everyone anxious. But then, a young man with mechanics stepped forward, leveraging his experience and wisdom to force the vehicle back into service. Along the way, such difficulties arose one after another, but each time, the people supported each other and overcame them together. For in their eyes, the shelter was their beacon of hope, a light that would never fade, always illuminating their path forward, no matter how difficult the situation.
Life in the shelter. After entering the shelter, people began a new life. Each day here was a frantic yet regimented pace. In the morning, sunlight streamed through the narrow windows, awakening the slumbering residents. They quickly rose, made their beds, and began the day's busy schedule. In the communal dining hall, the enticing aroma of steaming food filled the air. Everyone lined up for breakfast, a simple yet satisfying meal. People gathered around, chatting and sharing stories and hopes. Children attended classes in dedicated classrooms, where teachers diligently imparted knowledge, hoping to nourish the children's hearts despite these challenging circumstances. Their laughter and the sound of reading echoed through the hallways, bringing life and energy to the shelter. Adults were assigned to various tasks based on their skills. Some mended clothes and tools in the workshop, others carefully tended vegetables in the gardening area, and still others maintained the shelter's equipment and order. In the afternoon, there was a brief break. People sat down in the lounge area, chatting or quietly reading. Some people use this time to create small crafts, adding a touch of color to their monotonous lives. In the evening, everyone gathers for simple entertainment. Some sing, others dance, momentarily forgetting the dangers and hardships outside. As the lights dim at night, everyone retreats to their rooms, lying on their narrow beds. Though exhausted, their hearts are filled with anticipation for the future. In this small refuge, they rely on each other, supporting each other as they strive to create their own new home.
