"Brother Lei, you're not thinking of going right now, are you?"

Xu Jiao came out carrying the dishes and saw Ye Lei intently examining the map. She asked him a question.

"It's not that bad. Let them catch their breath. The Zheng family has already suffered a major blow and won't recover so quickly!"

Ye Lei looked up at Xu Jiao and said with a smile.

"Yeah, damn it, there's no escaping it!"

"Jiao'er, when did you become so good at it?"

In Ye Lei's eyes, Xu Jiao was a well-behaved and lovely housewife.

"You've been with you guys for too long, haven't you? You always feel like you can't get enough of killing people, haha..."

Xu Jiao laughed at her own words.

Xiuyan came out of the kitchen. As a doctor, she had a compassionate heart, and killing was not something she wanted to see.

Ye Lei also felt that it wasn't good for the family to be constantly killing each other.

"Brother Lei, are you planning to go into the Hundred Thousand Mountains?"

The table was already laden with various dishes.

What are we eating today?

"My girlfriends said that it's rare to have such fresh vegetables today, and they insist on having hot pot to really enjoy it. You don't mind, do you?"

Xu Jiao was afraid that Ye Lei didn't like hot pot.

"Of course we don't mind. It seems like it's been a long time since we've had hot pot, hasn't it?"

Ye Lei isn't particular about food. At least not now. Before the apocalypse, he wouldn't have dared to even think about what he ate. Back then, he would go to the canteen every day and either have a fast food meal or a bowl of noodles, which solved his hunger problem.

"I've probably been too busy lately, it's been a long time since I've eaten here, so let's have a delicious meal today!"

"Hot pot is great, but how can we do without ice-cold beer? Why didn't you say so earlier? It's probably too late to freeze it now. How about I try out my supernatural ice sword?"

After Ye Lei finished speaking, he prepared to go out and try it out, hoping that this would be faster.

"Alright, Brother Lei, you don't need to worry about these things. I've already prepared them!"

As they were talking, Tang Xiaoting came in carrying a case of frozen beer.

"Wow! Our expert Tang is so thoughtful. Is there anything else?"

Ye Lei thought that this box definitely wouldn't be enough to drink.

"There are two more boxes outside, sisters, go and bring them in!"

Tang Xiaoting greeted them.

"Are you sure you don't need my help?"

Ye Lei suddenly realized that he was reaping the benefits without lifting a finger.

"No need, you should go wash your hands. Everyone is waiting for you to start the meal!"

"That's right, that's right, I can't make everyone wait for me."

After Ye Lei finished speaking, he quickly ran to the bathroom to wash his hands. When he came out, a large glass of beer had been poured in front of everyone, except for the pregnant women who were drinking fruit juice.

"Let's begin!"

Ye Lei then sat down in the chairman's seat.

"Come on, cheers!"

"To celebrate that we can all get together in this apocalypse, cheers!"

"Tonight, we'll drink until we drop! Cheers!"

"Ding ding..."

Everyone raised their glasses, clinked them together with a crisp sound, and then drank them down in one gulp, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

With this glass of beer down the drain, the lively hot pot feast officially began.

In the steaming hot pot, various ingredients tumbled and released an enticing aroma. Everyone's face was filled with smiles and anticipation, as if they couldn't wait to taste this sumptuous meal.

The table was laden with a variety of side dishes, including tender slices of meat, vibrant green vegetables, and delicious meatballs. Each dish was mouthwatering and whetted the appetite.

Only Benana remained in the monitoring room, but she wasn't idle. Every now and then, her sisters would bring her cooked dishes. What a harmonious family!

After several rounds of drinks, the hot pot feast finally came to an end two hours later.

Aside from the few people drinking beverages, everyone else's faces were flushed, especially Sarah, who kept making gibberish, which drew laughter from everyone.

Ye Lei felt that it was about time, so he planned to take a hot shower first, then rest up and settle accounts with the Zheng family tomorrow.

He stood up, his body swaying slightly, and walked upstairs, feeling a sense of euphoria. When he entered the bathroom, he took off all his clothes, took a shower under the hot water, and enjoyed the refreshing feeling.

Ye Lei thought to himself, what a wonderful experience it would be to bathe with a beautiful woman right now!

Just as he was lost in thought, he suddenly felt as if a woman, like a fairy descending to earth, was slowly walking towards him from the steaming mist.
