"Tell me! Where is this key from?"
Ye Lei pressed the pistol button again.
"216"
Beanna whispered in fright.
"Let's go, lead the way!"
"Ye Lei, do you know that you have broken the law? Hijacking police officers is a serious crime."
Bena also tried to intimidate Ye Lei with the law.
"Crimes? You're talking to me about that? When you made me pay money to settle things privately without even asking what happened, didn't you commit a crime back then?"
Ye Lei shouted sternly, showing no sympathy for these police officers who only cared about protecting themselves.
"this……"
Bena knew she was in the wrong, but there was nothing she could do.
"Enough with the nonsense, lead the way, or I'll shoot!"
"No, no, Ye Lei, it's easy to accidentally fire it."
"So you're afraid of death too?"
"Who isn't afraid of death!"
Bena had no choice but to lead the way to room 216.
Once you reach the entrance, the iron bars on the side of the door will tell you that this is where the police retrieve their guns.
"Tell me, which key is the one that opens the door?"
Ye Lei looked at the security door, not wanting to resort to force.
"Are you really sure? Once you step in, there's no turning back!"
Bena knew that all the police station's weapons and ammunition were inside.
"A way back? If you don't tell me now, you'll have no way back!"
Ye Lei raised his pistol and fired a shot at the ceiling. This woman was talking too much nonsense; mere intimidation wasn't enough.
"No!"
Startled, Bena covered her ears and crouched down.
"The biggest one is it!"
She hadn't forgotten to tell Ye Lei the key to open the security door.
Ye Lei opened the security door, inside were two tall cabinets and one short cabinet, all locked.
He controlled the female knight to place a dagger against Beanna's neck and then tried to unlock it himself.
The first cabinet required five keys to open; it was filled with controlled knives, homemade guns, and other confiscated items.
Ye Lei accepted the space without hesitation, thinking he might need it someday.
The second cabinet was opened with just three keys, and inside were more: ten Type 54 pistols, two Type 97 semi-automatic rifles, and two MP18 submachine guns.
There are a total of five or six hundred rounds of ammunition for all types of firearms.
There were also quite a few hand grenades, smoke grenades, and incendiary bombs.
Ye Lei accepted them all without hesitation.
When the last cabinet was opened, it was full of defensive equipment such as bulletproof vests, riot shields, and tactical helmets.
After finishing all that, Ye Lei turned around and looked at Beanna, whose mouth was so big that an egg could fit inside, her face full of horror.
"Then...where...where did all those guns and equipment go?"
Beanna pointed to the empty cabinet, her words becoming incoherent.
"I took them all!"
Ye Lei could only laugh at Beanna's expression.
"But you didn't have any on you, how... did they all just disappear into thin air?"
Beanna hasn't recovered yet.
"If you really want to know, and I tell you, you might lose your life!"
Ye Lei brandished the pistol in his hand.
"Fine, I should have known from the beginning that you were no ordinary person, since you were able to control zombies."
"That's settled then, stop with the nonsense!"
"Can you let me go now? You've got everything you wanted!"
Beanna figured she was being coerced anyway, so even if her boss investigated later, she didn't need to be afraid; saving her life was the priority.
"Let you go? Ask it if it's willing."
Ye Lei pointed to the female swordsman behind her.
"What else do you want? It's just a zombie, and it only listens to your control."
"So what? Shouldn't you pay the price for wrongly accusing an innocent person?"
Ye Lei had no intention of letting her go; she knew too much.
"Are you talking about that staged accident case? When I closed the case, my supervisor reviewed it and criticized me, saying that I hadn't investigated carefully enough and the punishment was too simplistic. I've already paid the price."
Beanna wanted to gain Ye Lei's sympathy.
"Isn't that all your own fault? How can you blame anyone else?"
"I'll give you the four thousand yuan, okay? Yes, it's the end of the world, money's useless now!"
Beanna is not yet confused.
"Where were you earlier? After your boss criticized you, why didn't you call me and compensate me?"
"I forgot, I'm so sorry!"
"Forgot? Give me a break. Aren't you just a bully who picks on the weak and fears the strong? I know that all too well."
Ye Lei would not be fooled by Beanna's lies.
"Then what do you suggest we do?"
"Come with me, and perhaps you'll still have a chance to atone for your sins!"
Where are we going?
"Golden Sands Nightclub!"
Ye Lei wanted to bring Beanna along; maybe she could be of help to him.
"Ah! Why do we have to go there?"
"What? You know about the Golden Sands Nightclub?"
"Of course! That's the biggest gang stronghold in Tomato City. The police have raided it many times, but they haven't been able to eradicate it completely!"
Beanna suddenly raised her voice.
"I see, so you're afraid to go?"
"The people in there are all ruthless killers, and I heard they all carry heavy weapons!"
As a police officer, Beanna is quite familiar with these matters.
"Now you know why I came to the police station, right? I can't go and fight them empty-handed!"
