Her nonchalant tone led Fu Xihan to believe it wasn't a big deal, and he nodded very quickly.

"Yes, that's right."

Regardless, he now wants to make his stance clear: he and Li Xin'er are together.

Besides Li Xin'er herself, Carl was the one who knew Li Xin'er's motives best. Watching Fu Xihan being led into the trap by Li Xin'er, Carl couldn't bear to look at Fu Xihan.

Seeing that Fu Xihan agreed so readily, Lu Jin'an turned her attention to Fu Xihan.

His identity is relatively confidential; Fu Xihan may not know him, but he is still familiar with the Fu family.

He glanced at the weapons held by the bodyguards behind Fu Xihan and said meaningfully:

"I never expected your Fu family to be so capable."

They even have the latest missiles; the Fu family really knows how to keep them hidden.

Seeing where his gaze was directed, Fu Xihan mistakenly assumed that Lu Jin'an was simply talking about the weapons and readily admitted it without any hesitation.
