"Taking action against Battlewing wasn't my idea; it was all Chibman's fault. He... he said that with Battlewing, the Saiaka Society would have no place to stand. I didn't want to..."

Carl had little patience for his confession. With his gloved right hand, he gripped Mondjef's neck and slowly lifted him up, bringing him to eye level.
