Chapter 225 I don't care! I'm going!

"I'm busy making preparations! I'll be going back to City A in a while!" Li Churan's words were like a bombshell.

"Chu Ran! Try this! And this is delicious too!" Wang Siyuan was still putting grouper into Li Chu Ran's bowl. Ever since Li Chu Ran started coming home for dinner every day, he had been urging the chef to prepare all sorts of dishes that Li Chu Ran liked to eat, starting at three in the afternoon. "Um, Chu Ran, what did you just say? I didn't quite catch that!"

"I told you I'm going back to City A in a while!" Li Churan said casually while eating grouper.

"What?" Wang Siyuan suddenly pushed the plate away and stood up. A bowl on the edge of the table lost its footing and fell to the ground with a crash, shattering into pieces.

"Chu Ran, you're going to City A? Are you kidding me?" Wang Siyuan asked incredulously. Her words were like a storm at sea, instantly creating a huge uproar.

"I'm not joking with you, I really am going back to City A, I'll be leaving in a few days!" Li Churan looked directly into Wang Siyuan's eyes, clearly serious.

"Chu Ran, why do you want to go to City A? Isn't Country H good enough? Besides, aren't there supposed to be zombies in City A?" Wang Siyuan quickly stopped him. If Chu Ran went to City A, wouldn't she never be able to see him again?

"I have my own mission and plans over there. I've already made up my mind. I'm just informing you now!" Compared to Wang Siyuan's loss of control, Li Churan appeared very calm. He continued eating his meal without changing his expression.

"No! No! Absolutely not! Chu Ran, I won't let you go!" Wang Siyuan kept shaking her head. She had finally managed to improve her relationship with Chu Ran. If Chu Ran went to City A now, wouldn't all her efforts be in vain?

"Chu Ran, please don't go, okay?" She kept shaking Li Chu Ran's arm and said coquettishly.

Li Churan was completely unmoved by her coquettishness. He simply pushed her hand away and continued eating, his expression resolute. "I've made up my mind about this! There's no room for discussion!"

The thought of Li Churan leaving made Wang Siyuan feel like a thousand ants were eating her heart. She completely lost her mind, and her only thought was that she didn't want him to leave.

"I know!" Wang Siyuan suddenly exclaimed, feigning realization. "Chu Ran, did you go there specifically to avoid me?"

She couldn't think of any other reason besides this.

"Chu Ran! I promise you! I won't bother you anymore, I won't put any pressure on you! I beg you! Please don't leave, okay? As long as you stay here, I'm willing to agree to anything you ask!" Wang Siyuan knelt and sat on the ground without any regard for her image, hugging Li Chu Ran's legs and crying bitterly.

Her possessiveness towards Li Churan, coupled with a morbid infatuation, had completely driven her to lose her reason.

"Siyuan!" Li Churan gently lifted Wang Siyuan's chin.

The upward angle made Li Churan's eyes look like they were sparkling with starlight.

"You're overthinking it! If I wanted to avoid you, there are plenty of ways; I wouldn't need to go through an ocean to get here."

Wang Siyuan stared blankly at Li Churan; she had never seen Churan with such a gentle expression before.

His eyes were lowered, and his soft, flowing hair cascaded down his forehead, making him look as handsome as a young boy.

"Chu Ran! Please don't go! I want to leave you. If you insist on leaving, then take me with you!" Wang Siyuan pleaded, clinging to his leg.

“Okay!” Li Churan blurted out naturally.

"Chu Ran, are you serious?" Wang Siyuan asked incredulously. She had only said it casually, but she didn't expect Li Chu Ran to actually agree!

“Of course it’s true!” Li Churan stood up and said it was true.

"Chu Ran, are you really going to take me with you?" Wang Siyuan still couldn't believe he was telling the truth.

"What, you don't want to?" Li Churan raised an eyebrow.

"Of course not! But aren't there zombies in City A? What are you going there for?" Wang Siyuan didn't want to face any zombies, but she didn't dare to refuse directly, for fear of upsetting Li Churan.

"We've found a way to deal with the zombies. I discussed it with Dad, and I'll go over there to expand my influence first!"

"Have you found a way to deal with the zombies? But with so many people, why did they choose you to go?" Wang Siyuan asked, puzzled. Was her father deliberately excluding Chu Ran? If so, she would definitely have to talk to her father about it.

"No, I asked to go!" Li Churan glanced coldly at Wang Siyuan.

She originally wanted to say that she would beg her father to stop Li Churan from going.

In this way, those words were effectively shut down from her lips.

"Chu Ran! Have you made up your mind?" Wang Siyuan asked tentatively.

"That's right! I've made up my mind, and that decision won't change! If you're willing to come with me, we'll go together; if you're not, then I naturally won't force you!"

Wang Siyuan stared intently at Li Churan; this was the first time she had ever heard the word "we" from Li Churan's mouth.

"Would you like to come with me?" Li Churan looked up and stared directly at Wang Siyuan.

"I...I...I!" Wang Siyuan lowered her head somewhat guiltily.

"What, you don't want to?" Li Churan was a little downcast and turned to walk towards the study.

"Chu Ran! Where are you going?" Wang Siyuan hurriedly chased after him. Could he be angry?

"I'm going back to my room!" Li Churan said without turning her head.

"Chu Ran! I'm willing to go with you!" Wang Siyuan shouted hurriedly in a panic.
