Just when she was at her wit's end, a heavy thud of a lock coming from the back of the line.

The next second, heavy footsteps came from the other end of the corridor.

More than a dozen enormous figures emerged from the rooms throughout the corridor, eyeing Lu Sheng and the others menacingly.

Those pairs of scarlet pupils, as wide as copper bells, flashed with a fierce light, and their gaping maws stretched all the way to their ears, occasionally emitting chilling roars.
