Chen Ziqiu, standing to the side, looked on with pity and tenderness, wanting to save Jiang Man but hesitant to act because of Lu Sheng.

"I can count however I want."

Lu Shengming was clearly being unreasonable, leaving Chen Ziqiu speechless.

After all, they do have the right to be unreasonable.

"Release the person first, and then we can talk things out."

Just as he was about to touch Lu Sheng's wrist, he felt a sharp pain in his fingertips, as if he had struck an invisible barrier.

Chen Ziqiu turned around angrily and glared at Xu Yi.

This guy's superpower is really his nemesis.

Once this man uses his spatial sealing ability, he's like a pig in an oven, no matter how much he struggles, he can't make a ripple.

With Chen Ziqiu restrained, no one at the scene dared to speak up for Jiang Man anymore.

Everyone silently watched Jiang Man's face, flushed red from suffocation, and gripped their weapons warily.

Several mutated zombies continued to charge at the electric grid, their terrifying howls echoing from time to time.

The greenhouse was filled with tall, mutated trees and all sorts of strange, fresh vines and ferns, and the air was filled with a warm, humid atmosphere.

This warmth and humidity did not bring comfort to the people present; instead, it made the tense atmosphere even more sticky and unbearable.

"Where are Lin Xiaobao and Lü Songren? Ask one last time."

Lu Sheng pressed the cold blade against Jiang Man's other shoulder, his tone calm but filled with intense killing intent.

Her patience was limited, and Jiang Man was about to run out of patience.

Just then, a faint rustling sound came from above Lu Sheng's head, and an ice spear suddenly shot towards where she was standing.

Lu Sheng quickly turned aside, pinching Jiang Man's neck, and glanced up.

A fifth-tier mutated zombie emerged from the treetop, staring at her menacingly.

I couldn't resist after all.

Immediately afterwards, sharp, tiny ice spikes rained down from above everyone's heads.

Although the electric grid can temporarily stop these mutated zombies, supernatural abilities can still get in through the gaps in the grid.

For a time, everyone present could only rely on their own abilities to avoid the overwhelming and unpredictable ice-based superpowers.

Sun Tiantian quickly erected a thick ice wall, protecting everyone on her side beneath it, but Xin Qiao was a little too slow and cut her arm.

The people at the Xusheng base weren't so lucky. Four or five people were injured by ice spikes, and one person couldn't dodge in time and had his heart pierced.

The stench of blood spread rapidly through the air, further exciting the mutated zombies outside the electric fence.

Lu Sheng rushed forward, nimbly dodging the attacks of the mutated zombies, while gripping the small water gun Xu Yi had given him, aiming the muzzle at the ice-type zombie hiding in the tree canopy.

A dazzling white light flashed by, and a faint smell of burning wafted from the tree canopy.

Lu Sheng then tossed Jiang Man to Xu Yi and rushed toward the mutated zombies lurking outside the electric fence. He leaped into the air and kicked the nearest plant.

She used tremendous force in that kick, and the unfortunate plant-type zombie couldn't withstand the brute force. It was sent flying, crashing into several other mutated zombies around it.

Taking advantage of a gap in the horde of corpses, Lu Sheng swiftly followed, sending several beams of white light through the gap.

After several dazzling white flashes, the heads of a small group of mutated zombies lying on the ground were burned into sticky black liquid, and the putrid slime splattered everywhere.

No matter how much zombies evolve, their weakness will always be their head.

Tearing a gap in the horde of zombies, Lu Sheng pressed his advantage, turning his attention to the remaining mutated zombies.

Just as she was preparing to get rid of these unsightly filth as soon as possible, a huge head suddenly emerged from the bushes beside her.

It opened its blood-red maw and bit down on her neck.

A warm current brushed against her neck.

The next second, the light blade precisely pierced the monster's gaping maw and exploded inside its abdomen.

"Leave the rest to me, you continue."

Jiang Man was tossed to Lu Sheng by Xu Yi like a rag.

The two exchanged a glance, understanding each other perfectly.

Lu Sheng grabbed Jiang Man by the hair and dragged her aside, while Xu Yi dealt with the remaining mutated zombies.

In less than five minutes, dozens of mutated zombies perished under Xu Yi's blade.

"Teacher Xu, next time we can just take action directly, there's no need to test my little brother. He's really no good, boohoo."

Zhang Xiaojuan stared in astonishment at the mutated zombies lying haphazardly on the ground, then leaned against Xu Yi, completely bewildered.

If they had known Teacher Xu was so powerful, why did they hide? They could have just killed them all!

“What do you know? Teacher Xu, this is the refinement of a mature man.”

Han Rui rolled her eyes at Zhang Xiaojuan, her face full of smugness, "Silently supporting Sister Lu, doing everything according to Sister Lu's wishes."

He didn't understand; all he wanted to do right now was go home and eat the braised goose in an iron pot made by Han Mingjun.

Seeing all the mutated zombies reduced to rotten flesh on the ground, Jiang Man's face turned ashen, and her chest heaved violently.

"They're both still alive! If I tell you where Lin Xiaobao and Lü Song are, will you spare my life?"

Jiang Man's expression changed, and she immediately adopted a fawning look, pleading with Lu Sheng, "I don't want to die..."

Where?

Ma Dongmei rushed up and swung her hand hard across the buttocks, leaving a clear handprint on Jiang Man's fair face.

Desperate to save her life, Jiang Man eagerly revealed her hiding place.
