Half an hour later, the seven members of their team and Yang Xie, along with Cui Xiuyuan and the black cat, set off for Tai'an City. There were two cars in total. Yang Xie, Zhang Meng, and Tan Qingjia were in the first car watching over Cui Xiuyuan and the black cat, while the others were in the second car.

They had just left Haicheng when a crow, larger than most birds, flew overhead.

Lu Zhi was resting with his eyes closed in the back of the car. After sensing the presence of strange beings outside, he glanced out the window, then turned to look at his companion and whispered, "It seems they really are watching you all the time."

“This isn’t a kitten,” the young man called Ashu refused again, retorting, “There are no kittens that big.”

The boy straddled his lap and whispered in his ear, "Didn't Ashu want to sleep with me? If you get me this cat, I'll let you sleep with me however you want."

A-Shu's body stiffened, but her hand instinctively rested on the boy's waist, her breathing slightly disordered. "You go down first."

"But you're hugging me!" The boy kissed him on the cheek and said in a soft, sweet voice, "How about we get a cat? Then Ashu will be the dad and I'll be the mom, a family of three, all together. Wouldn't Ashu want that?"

Ashu's eyes were dark. Of course he was willing, but he didn't want anything else around the boy to distract him. However, he still needed to appease him for now, and then he could quietly deal with the alien creature later.

His thoughts grew increasingly dark, and he agreed in a slightly hoarse voice.
