"What are you afraid of? I'm still here." This was all Shi Yin could promise. As long as she remained, the Flame Dragon Nation would not perish.
Facing the apocalypse, Shi Yin dec...
The White Horse Knight is like an enlarged version of an ordinary zombie. Ordinary zombies are not that scary in the eyes of humans, but when it is enlarged countless times, it makes humans tremble with fear.
Its entire body was covered in dense, blue, vine-like veins, and it held a bow that looked like it was made of withered vines, the tip of the arrow gleaming coldly in the murky sky.
Behind it followed a knight on a black horse. Unlike the ordinary zombie in front, which looked normal, this zombie was so thin that it was just skin and bones. From a distance, it looked like a skeleton. It held a rusty balance scale in its hand, and was looking down, carefully searching for any living creature.
The third knight, riding a green horse, held a scythe. He seemed to be the ugliest of them all, with huge pustules growing all over his body, his muscles bulging like a berserker, and his skin and hair falling out in patches.
To the human eye, this might not be terrifying, but rather disgusting.
Where are humans?
Why is no one here? Where did everyone go?
The three knights spoke in a language that was not human, but their voices were like thunder, and could be heard even by the people of Wellen, who were far away.
The exploration team consisted of the largest group, Wellen. Their country didn't have many people left to begin with, so they formed many teams and dispersed. Naturally, unlike the Yanlong Kingdom, they didn't have large clusters of cities left behind. Only a small number of people were concentrated in the shelters.
They were actually still quite far apart, but the three knights were so tall and large that they could see their bodies slowly moving toward them from a distance, which made them a little panicked.
The three knights of disaster are almost at their safety line. Once they cross the line, all of them will have to lead their teams to flee in different directions.
We can't just sit here and wait to die.
Suddenly, countless dragons rose into the sky.
They come in various colors and shapes, and can control the elements. Some dragons spew ice shards, trying to freeze the joints of the horses; some dragons breathe fire, trying to burn the three knights of disaster; and many more are wingless dragons covered in hard armor, recklessly ramming into the hooves of several horses.
Thirty percent of its power has limited effect, but it's enough to cause disruption.
"Ishtar, behind you!"
"when!"
A series of ear-piercing, grinding metallic clanging sounds.
Ishtar turned around and saw a gleaming katana tracing a graceful arc through the air, cleaving through Helmod's clothes and leaving a deep gash.
"Muramasa!" Ishtar was shocked.
"Heh, as expected, the clone chose you to lead the charge, Shi Yin." Helmod touched the cracks on his skin and sneered, "You really are a nuisance."
The face of the person in front of me was blurry, like a facet of a mirror, flashing a different appearance with each movement, each appearance a different facet of Shi Yin.
The zombie in front of him had more muscular muscles than ordinary zombies, and its physique and size were exactly the same as Shi Yin's. Only when he saw its bluish-gray skin did he realize that the person in front of him was not human, but a pure zombie.
"You only sent you because the other replicas are too weak to be of any use?" Helmod sneered. "But do you know why Tokine has only been using the Muramasa demon sword until now?"
Because if I only use this move, I have a natural advantage over Tokine!
The mirror zombie retreated immediately after its attack, but it seemed to possess some human intelligence. Seeing that Helmod was unaffected by its blow, it was somewhat bewildered.
The Demon Blade Village is cursed. If it only cuts the forearm or lower leg, the curse can be prevented from spreading by cutting them off. But if it hits the chest, there is no way to save the person.
This violates the knowledge stored in the brain of the zombie in front of us.
In the instant of surprise, the mirror zombie was surrounded by flying machines, each with a cannon barrel, seemingly charging up.
The mirror zombie copied Shi Yin, and naturally copied Shi Yin's reaction as well. It immediately brandished its katana, and a dense barrage of sword light covered the flying machines.
But when the flash of the blades subsided, the machines were completely undamaged, not even leaving a white mark.
“Weak and feeble.” Helmod chuckled mockingly.
The next moment, lasers shot out from these aircraft, instantly turning the mirror-like zombie into a sieve.
“It seems I’ve been underestimated.” Ishtar slowly waved his scepter, a huge magic circle condensing in front of him: “I really don’t know if these people behind the scenes have brains or not. Didn’t they notice that for most of Shi Yin’s moves, the bar for her ability usage didn’t move at all?”
Especially when using Muramasa to slash, the ability bar will jump up only when there are additional attributes or when crowd control is needed. When using a katana to slash people, the ability usage rate remains completely unchanged.
"Helmod, I'm ready."
Before Ishtar, a massive magic circle had been successfully formed. The magic circle was so large that it rotated like a disc, towering over the Apocalypse Knights.
With a flick of his wrist, Ishtar conjured a rein from his staff and flung it directly into the magic circle.
"This is the mount of Satan of Hell, which shot down the dark serpent that had turned the tables..."
"roar---"
The magic circle trembled, and in an instant, sand and stones flew everywhere. Ishtar gripped the golden reins formed from her staff, spat out a mouthful of blood, and tears of blood streamed down her face. She pulled back with all her might, as if she were pulling the reins of a horse, and pulled out a dark red dragon head.
The magic circle was much taller than the twenty-story-high Apocalypse Knight, but even so, it could only accommodate the size of the dragon's head. Ishtar bled from all seven orifices just from riding the dragon's head.
"Click, click, click."
At the same time, the cannon barrels on Helmod's body began to be armed. The hand of the gods and demons supported the wide cannon barrels, and as the black and gold light converged, it transformed into runes that wrapped around them.
Helmod's machine creaked under the strain, lightning flashed and sparks flew, and the condensation of energy made the surrounding space blurry as if it had dropped a frame.
"Reverse the dawn, and bring down the enemies of Apocalypse! Dragon of Hell!"
"Tear the sky apart, connect the earth, and draw power from the hand of God!"
Two laser beams, one black and one white, shot out simultaneously, forming an angle. When they collided, they seemed to entangle and reflect each other, and actually condensed into a single beam, which surpassed light and electricity at an even faster speed, covering the three Apocalypse Knights.
