Li Lin transmigrated to Piltover on the continent of Valoran. He originally thought his life would pass by uneventfully, until he became an employee of the Kiramman family and discovered he possess...
"Then you're a true master of time management." Jace folded his arms and sneered, not believing a word Li Lin said. "Can you teach me how to do this?"
After hearing what Jace and Li Lin said, Victor's eyes widened again, and a look of surprise flashed across his face. "You came up with all this in the past few days?"
Fortunately, I didn't show my mechanical engineer, otherwise you would be shocked...
"Ahem..." Li Lin seemed a little embarrassed and quickly changed the subject: "You should introduce Blitzcrank to Jayce first."
Seeing that he didn't want to say more, although Jace and Victor were curious and wanted to know how he did it, they didn't ask any more questions.
Then, Viktor looked at Jayce intently. "This is my new research, an intelligent steam robot. I named him Blitzcrank."
"Intelligent robots?" Jace seemed even more surprised. "Why are you researching this? Didn't Li Lin invent the smart chip? And he developed it in the desert..."
"I didn't use a smart chip, I only used a device supported by a primordial crystal," Victor explained.
"How is this possible? Isn't the Primordial Crystal just a magical stone that provides energy? How can it have this function?" Jace's tone was full of doubt.
"The professor at the academy has already certified it, otherwise Blitz wouldn't have been able to appear at the Evolution Day Convention booth."
"They're just a bunch of pedantic guys. Most of them were planted by big families and have no real talent of their own."
Upon hearing this, Victor looked a little unhappy.
What Jace said was the same as if he had bribed those people with money.
But Victor knew that Jayce didn't really mean that, it was just that his words were a little inappropriate.
Besides, he had long been accustomed to Jace's straightforward and unceremonious personality, and bickering was just a normal part of their conversations.
He just sighed and shrugged helplessly, "Do I really need to lie to you about this? I don't want to argue with you at this time, Jace. How about I open it and show you?"
As soon as Viktor finished speaking, the host outside called out the names of Viktor and Blitzcrank.
"Okay Jayce, Blitzcrank did use only Primordial Crystals, the ones we brought back from Shurima. I was there at the time."
After hearing what Li Lin said, Jace fell silent, but his eyes that were flashing with strange light were still full of suspicion.
How can the primordial crystal provide computing power for a machine?
"Blitzcrank, are you ready?" Viktor ignored Jayce and turned around to ask the robot in front of him.
Blitzcrank nodded stiffly, making a rustling noise of mechanical metal, and then said in a robotic, emotionless voice, "We're ready to go anytime."
When they got on the booth, Li Lin and Jess could clearly hear exclamations and discussions from the audience outside.
Victor waved his hand timidly, and everyone in the audience fell silent, waiting for his introduction.
Although he was not good at dealing with situations like this where important people gathered together, he recalled Skye's instructions to him and just treated this as a class where he was giving lectures to students, and soon calmed down.
In the following time, Viktor talked about Blitzcrank's various functions and ordered it to demonstrate.
Blitzcrank even showed some ability to learn, which really surprised the audience.
Backstage, Li Lin and Jace stared at Victor from behind the curtain.
Jess couldn't hold back his doubts and asked, "Li Lin, this... eh?"
"Blitzcrank."
"Yeah, Blitzcrank, what's going on? Did you give the patent for your smart chip to Viktor?"
"What led you to this?" Li Lin shook his head helplessly. "What you just said wasn't very clear. Is this the influence of the Primordial Crystal?"
"But..." Jace scratched his head.
He had never studied the relationship between the Primordial Crystal and the Shell People, and there was almost no information on this matter in Piltover, only sporadic records in the Academy Library.
Li Lin understood Jayce's confusion and explained it another way: "Victor studied the history of the Primordial Crystal and discovered that it has a deep connection with a Shurima magical race called the Shellmen. Blitzcrank's intelligence is likely related to this."
"The Shell People... I seem to have heard this name in Beljuen."
Jace rubbed his bald, square chin. "The local Noxian officer said a Noxian expedition lost contact in the Crystal Scar. It seems to be related to the Shellmen."
It is Totari Heavenly King...
Oh no, was it Crystal Vanguard Skarner who did it?
A light flashed in Li Lin's eyes, and he felt a sense of urgency about the problems of the original crystal and the Shell People.
"Crystal Scar... Our excavation team didn't dig up the original crystal there, but Kalina plans to send people there next."
Li Lin said in a deep voice, "If it's dangerous there, I suggest giving up digging for the original crystal for the time being."
"Well, you're right." Jace nodded in agreement, "But we need to discuss this issue with Madam Karina first."
While the two were talking, Viktor had already demonstrated Blitzcrank's abilities, winning cheers and warm applause from the audience.
After he left the booth, the host called out two more names: "Next, let us welcome the two youngest and most outstanding craftsmen from the Jiraman family in Upper City—Jace and Li Lin!"
Jace suddenly felt nervous. "It's our turn, Li Lin. Have you prepared your speech?"
