Li Lin transmigrated to Piltover on the continent of Valoran. He originally thought his life would pass by uneventfully, until he became an employee of the Kiramman family and discovered he possess...
Just now, Boom Boom returned to the basement and saw Wei complaining about Vandel to Craig and Milo.
She trotted to Wei's side with a nervous look on her face, "Wei!"
"What's wrong? You look so flustered." Hearing her sister calling her, Wei tried her best to suppress her temper and spoke in a gentle tone.
"Vander, Vander he..."
Wei frowned slightly, crossed her arms and turned her face away, "Don't mention him to me now."
Baobao pointed at the door with his little hand, a little anxious, "I'm talking about serious matters!"
"What happened? Speak slowly." Craig walked up to Baobao and asked.
"A few customers came into the store just now. When Vander saw the one leading the group, his expression changed. I've never seen him look like that before..."
"Tsk, I thought it was something else." Wei curled her lips in disdain. "Look at him now, who wouldn't..."
Before she could finish her words, she heard a loud sound of wood breaking from upstairs, as if something was smashed.
Immediately afterwards, a series of shrill screams and the mixed noise of tables, chairs and other debris being overturned reached their ears.
Wei was shocked, "What's going on?!"
"Someone seems to be causing trouble upstairs..." Craig listened carefully to the noise above.
Milo scratched his head, his face also full of confusion, "But there's no way a riot could cause such a big commotion, right?"
"Are they the people that Baobao just mentioned? Let's go out and take a look. If there really are people causing trouble, we have to help."
Wei walked to the door, waved to Craig and Milo, then looked back at her sister who was also eager to join them.
"Baobao, you stay here and don't go anywhere."
Baobao pouted in dissatisfaction and raised the metal canister with animal designs graffiti on it. "Why? My spike mines are really powerful..."
Craig, who was standing by, couldn't help but interject, "Um... Wei, there's no movement outside."
"So fast?" Wei raised her eyebrows and ignored Baobao who was following her.
As soon as they opened the door, a strong smell of rust in the air penetrated their nostrils.
As someone who grew up in Zaun and got hurt in fights every day, Wei knew very well that this was the smell of blood.
She felt a chill in her heart and had a bad premonition.
"Shh, keep your voice down."
Wei made a gesture to the three people behind him to keep quiet, then crouched down and walked up the stairs to the first floor with light steps.
Craig turned around and signaled to Milo and Bakugo to stay where they were, while he followed Wei.
As soon as she showed her head, the first thing she saw was blood everywhere and unconscious people.
The place was in a mess.
Wei's pupils shrank slightly, and she recognized them at a glance. These were all Fandel's men.
"This..." She was so shocked that she couldn't speak.
The noise just now only lasted for a few seconds, and the injuries on these people's bodies were obviously caused by beatings.
What kind of monster could take down over 20 strong, armed, and combat-savvy adults in just a few seconds?!
Then, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a guy covered in purple, with a physique that looked nothing like a human, dragging a person whose life or death was unknown out of the Fulgrim's Tavern.
"It's Fandel..." Wei murmured, recognizing the person being dragged.
Her eyes suddenly turned red, and without caring about anything else, she clenched her fists and rushed forward to fight the monster.
"Fan...mmmm..."
However, before Wei could rush out, Craig behind her covered her mouth and tried to drag her back to the basement.
"Why did you stop me, Craig!" Wei's tears could not stop flowing down her cheeks, "Fandel was captured!"
"Calm down! That thing can take out over 20 people in a matter of seconds. Even Vandel can't defeat it. If you go in, you're just committing suicide."
Craig was also in a heavy mood, but he was obviously much calmer.
"What?!" Baobao and Milo exclaimed at the same time.
After hearing what Craig said, Wei sat down on the ground helplessly, holding her forehead and sobbing, "I must rescue Fandel..."
"Vandel is our father too." Clark glanced at Milo, then patted Wei's shoulder to comfort her. "It's us who have to rescue Vandel."
"But we can't do it alone..." Milo said with a melancholy expression, "We must gather our strength."
"Yes, we can find Benso. Sevika didn't come tonight, so we can call her and her men as well..." Craig suggested.
"That's it!"
As they spoke, several people quickly divided the work.
Milo is thinner and more agile, so he is responsible for tracking the group that kidnapped Fandel and finding out their destination.
Craig went to Benso's Grocery to get Benso, while Vi went to find Sevika.
Baobao, who looked sad, didn't say a word. She ran to her own table and put the several nail bombs she made on the table into a shoulder bag.
Milo went out first to avoid missing any trace of those people, while Wei and Craig prepared their weapons...
Although there was only a baseball bat, a flare they had made themselves and two or three screwdrivers.
As they were about to leave, Wei saw that Boom was already prepared and staring at her intently.
Wei's previously tense spirit suddenly relaxed, "Don't follow me this time, Baobao."
"Why?" Baobao frowned slightly, not understanding.
"It's too dangerous..."
Baobao sniffed and looked into Wei's eyes seriously, "I'm not afraid!"
