Because of Li Lin's words, Shen finally chose not to leave. He found a relatively remote place in the meeting hall, away from Jie and his disciples.

Apart from having a bad relationship with Meimu, Akali did not have a falling out with Shen as they originally did, so she naturally sat next to him and Kennen.

Soon, Warmother Ashe of the Avarosan tribe representing the Freljord region arrived with several of her Iceborn warrior allies, but Tryndamere did not come with them.

When Ashe is not in the tribe, he is usually in charge, and one of them must take the lead.

As soon as the Iceborn entered the hall, the icy weapons on their bodies lowered the temperature of the entire hall by several degrees, attracting the attention of many people present.

Sarah arrived early as well, but noticing the frosty ice blood on several of the people, she did not hesitate to sit in a remote corner with her first mate Raven, not intending to attract too much attention.

Not long after, the Demacia delegation headed by Jarvan III and the Noxus delegation headed by Swain arrived.

All of this was guided by Li Lin.

As the host of the League of Legends Conference, Li Lin walked to the front of the podium, and the entire noisy hall suddenly became quiet.

Restraining his excitement, Li Lin looked around and took in the different expressions of the more than one hundred people scattered in the hall.

Then he cleared his throat and said, "My name is Li Lin. Most of the people here are my acquaintances, so there is no need for me to introduce myself too much.

"Thank you all for joining me at today's inaugural League of Legends meeting... Without further ado, let's get straight to the point."

Li Lin's voice was so powerful that even without a microphone or amplification, his words could echo throughout the large hall.

"I believe you all know that my original intention in founding the League of Legends was to unite all nations, all factions, and all gifted individuals to form the last line of defense for humanity across Runeterra.

"For nearly ten thousand years, Runeterra has experienced many vicissitudes and suffered much hardship, starting with the Freljord Ice Sisters' battle against the demigods of nature, and the battle between the newborn Vastaya and the Xarei and the Outer Titans.

"Later, the great westward migration of the Far Eastern continent brought new vitality to the Blessed Isles, Shurima, Mount Targon, the Blue Flame Islands, and Ixtal, opening a new chapter for mankind.

Later, the Protoss stole the knowledge and power of the great being who created the world, the Star-Forging Dragon King Aurelion Sol, and guided the Targonians to Shurima, where they led the local tribes to build the Sun Disc, and the first generation of Ascended Ones was born.

"Thus, the most peak era of ascension in human history has arrived."

Then, Li Lin changed the subject: "But we humans are facing even greater dangers!

"Avarosa and Serilda, two of the Ice Sisters, and their allies were betrayed by Lissandra, who, to atone for her sin of summoning the corrupting darkness of the Abyss, even resorted to draining the Yeti of their magic...

"Those guys in the abyss are the Void Watchers, the embodiment of the will of nothingness from another dimension of the heavens."

At this point, there was a murmur in the hall.

He looked towards Ashe. The Iceborn sitting next to her seemed to have something to say, but were stopped by their War Mother.

"Although we in Avarosa do not welcome the Frost Guard, the army left behind by Lissandra, one of the three great sisters, saved us from danger.

"Avarosa and Serilda died in battle, but Lissandra carried on her sisters' legacy and became the living saint of the Freljord. She grants us knowledge and allows us to see the truth."

Ashe's clear and unpretentious voice echoed in the hall.

Most people don't know much about the history of the Freljord, unless they are scholars who specialize in historical legends, and these are generally professors at Piltover University.

Perhaps in legends in other regions, the Frost Witch is an evil person who commits many evil deeds.

But Ashe believes that it is because of Lissandra that Freljord exists today.

Just as the witches buried history and publicized it.

Li Lin grinned and exchanged glances with Ashe in the audience. "It seems you don't understand the forgotten history."

"What do you mean by that?" Before Ashe could say anything, a war mother next to her who was obviously in a bad mood shouted.

"Lissandra is not the savior you imagine. Beneath the Howling Abyss in front of Frostguard Fortress lies the frozen Void Watcher, the Frost Watcher of your legends."
