Li Lin transmigrated to Piltover on the continent of Valoran. He originally thought his life would pass by uneventfully, until he became an employee of the Kiramman family and discovered he possess...
Victor used his free left hand to quickly press a few buttons on the machine platform.
Immediately afterwards, the four mechanical arms twisted very flexibly, and the three triangular mechanical claws all faced Victor, rotating from time to time, as if they had life.
It is hard to imagine that, leaving aside magic technology, in a world where overall technology is only at the level of the steam age and even the first industrial revolution has not yet taken place, there can be such a device comparable to the modern technology on Earth.
"I've given them a few fixed instructions." Victor said as he pressed the button on the machine platform at hand.
The four robotic arms received the command and picked up the parts on the platform and loaded and unloaded them.
Soon, with only one claw arm left, the other three arms were replaced with multi-functional repair tools, hammers and welding guns.
Victor pressed another button, and four arms with different functions gathered a pile of discarded metal and mechanical parts from the platform.
With a burst of hammering and dazzling sparks, the robotic arm successfully pieced together a pair of scrap parts into a miniature metal "figure" in the shape of Heimerdinger.
Even though Li Lin knew Victor's intelligence, he was still shocked by the scene before him.
He hadn't expected Victor's fully automated mechanical device to be able to do this.
"Did you invent this?!" Li Lin said in surprise.
Victor kept smiling and nodded silently.
"You can invent a device that would be considered high-end technology in Piltover, so why are you just an assistant teacher?"
To be honest, this kind of automated machinery is widely used in modern applications on Earth, not to mention a city-state with such a high level of technology as Piltover.
When asked this by Li Lin, Victor looked a little bitter.
"I invented this a few years ago in an alchemy workshop in Bottom City. I was still young then and hadn't come to Piltover University yet, so I didn't know anything about patents.
"Later, when Professor Stanwick invited me to the academy, I discovered that this fully automated mechanical device had already been patented by someone from the Zaun Tech School of Magic. They had also invented an alchemical robot specifically for cleaning up alchemical waste from the sewers in the Undercity..."
Li Lin was silent, feeling indignant about Victor's experience.
He suddenly remembered that in the background story, Victor had the experience of having the patent for his steam robot Blitzcrank plagiarized by a shameless professor.
Li Lin doesn't like Victor's submissive character, but he doesn't want him to become the mechanical pioneer who castrates his emotions and becomes extreme in the future.
Without waiting for Li Lin to respond, Victor continued, "Let the past be the past. Complaining won't change anything anyway."
"As a scientist, your invention should be named after you, not plagiarized by some shameless bastard. Your idea is unacceptable."
Li Lin sighed helplessly, with a hint of disappointment in his tone.
"It doesn't matter, actually. Anyway, I've been researching an invention that's even better than fully automatic mechanization these years."
Victor stopped the mechanical arm in front of him and looked at Li Lin excitedly.
"You think we could take our sewer-cleaning robots to new heights by introducing new elements..."
The more he said this, the more Li Lin's heart pounded. "You mean..."
"Hex Energy Crystal."
Energy crystal?
No, no, no... Blitzcrank can't be created with energy crystals.
Li Lin shook his head slightly.
"Why, is my idea not acceptable?" Victor asked hesitantly.
Li Lin smiled mysteriously. "It's not impossible, but do you want to take it to a higher level?"
Victor didn't understand what he meant, "Huh?"
"We use primordial crystal."
