Qin Ran hugged Liu Yiyi and spun around, then touched her soft lips.
"What time did you arrive?"
"I just arrived and cleaned the room a little bit. I washed the sheets and they should be dry by the afternoon."
"I wanted to pick you up."
"It's okay, you're visiting clients."
"I'm going to dinner tonight, do you want to join me?"
"client?"
"Yes, the vice president of Xiaomi Group."
"I won't go. I'll wait for you at home. Come inside first. I've turned on the air conditioner."
Qin Ran picked up Liu Yiyi and said, "Let's go."
"Oh, I was talking about the living room. The sheets in the bedroom have been washed."
"Didn't the guest bedroom also have new sheets?"
Liu Yiyi was wearing an A-line denim miniskirt, revealing her slender waist. Qin Ran had no resistance to it.
Furthermore, Kieran's resistance seemed to be getting lower and lower, which was not a good thing.
Liu Yiyi tied her hair up, bit her lower lip lightly, and let Qin Ran do what he wanted.
"I want to do my hair, um~"
"Do."
"You...why don't you ask why?"
"Change your hairstyle and start a new life?"
"You still understand me the best! Hmm~"
.......
An hour later, Liu Yi leaned in Qin Ran's arms, her fingertips slowly drawing circles, one after another.
Time slows down, and the intimacy afterwards is another kind of pleasure.
Kieran's hands weren't idle either. "Hasn't there been a response from the Grand Theater yet?"
Liu Yiyi's slender fingers paused, "Not yet."
"The reply is quite slow, almost a week."
"Today is the eighth day."
Liu Yiyi sighed softly, "I wonder if it's because my major doesn't meet the requirements that I was directly eliminated."
In fact, Liu Yiyi had thought about applying for the dance major at the Communication University.
She has never given up her dream since elementary school.
But she also understood that her parents would not agree, and her family conditions were not enough to support her pursuing her dreams.
So she decided not to apply for the dance major, but to choose a major with low tuition and easy coursework so that she could have more time to practice dancing.
But there is still a price to pay behind the ease.
It’s hard to find a job, and I can’t sign up to be a dancer at the Grand Theatre.
Precocity is a compromise with life, but Liu Yiyi has never really compromised.
Despite the busy academic schedule, I still practice dancing secretly.
But she didn't expect that her major would become the biggest stumbling block for her.
Liu Yiyi read the registration requirements of the Grand Theater repeatedly, and the strict professional requirements were particularly prominent.
The reason for the delay in reply is most likely due to professional issues.
But she still wouldn't give up and stayed at home for the past few days looking for a solution.
Liu Yiyi believes that the Grand Theater has the conditions for special admission.
Maybe it would be more difficult to apply directly, but she would not give up.
Having persisted for so many years, she will never stop in front of the stage of her dreams.
The biggest obstacle is never the restriction from the outside world, but the denial of oneself.
After Qin Ran left, her mother was quiet for two days, but then she couldn't help but start complaining that she didn't want her to come to the capital.
It would be nice to stay in Shengcheng, or stay in Zhonghai, live with Qin Ran and live a good life.
But she had made up her mind, and had decided long ago. Besides, the house had already been rented, and the rent would be quite high every year.
Qin Ran was so supportive of her, she would come again no matter what.
Otherwise, it would be a shame for all the efforts over the years and also a betrayal of Qin Ran’s kindness.
But now she lacks a stepping stone. She is very close to her dream place, but cannot really take a step forward.
The high threshold was like a thick wall blocking her way.
You can only buy a ticket and watch the actors on the stage as an audience member, instead of performing on the stage yourself.
Qin Ran saw that Liu Yiyi seemed to be in a low mood, so he kissed her forehead.
"Don't worry, they might just be slow to respond, you know. A unit like theirs can't possibly respond in a timely manner.
I asked someone to check and see if they received your email. It's possible there was some misunderstanding and the person in charge changed and the notice was not sent out in time.
Liu Yiyi nodded. "Don't worry, wait until you finish your work in the next two days. How many days will you stay?"
"Wait until you have some definite news about your matter before leaving. I am almost done with official business."
Liu Yiyi was delighted at first, then hesitated and said, "You are so busy, I don't know when they will reply."
"Don't underestimate your boyfriend." Qin Ran scratched Liu Yiyi's nose. "I have a few friends in Beijing. I'll ask them first."
"Husband, you are so nice~"
"You just said I was bad."
Liu Yiyi pouted, "You were really mean just now. I haven't recovered yet."
"Really? But didn't you say you wanted me to be even worse?"
"Yeah, I do."
Qin Ran glanced at the time and said, "I'll go take a shower when I get back in the evening."
"Let me scrub your back."
"Rest for a while. I'll bring you something to eat in the evening."
"I want to drink jasmine milk."
"Anything else?"
"No, you haven't finished the ice cream you bought last time."
"Okay, I'll bring it back later."
"Thank you, husband~mua"
"Let's go to the mall tomorrow and buy two more outfits."
"Okay, the ones I bought last time were a bit more casual. Not suitable for business."
"Nowadays, people rarely wear anything too formal; it's all business casual."
"Buy two polo shirts. You have broad shoulders, and they'll definitely look good on you. They'll make you look formal without being too casual."
