Description

After transmigrating, Lu Qin found herself with a sickly body, a wicked aunt, and a husband who ran away from their wedding. To make matters worse, she went out to see a doctor but encountered a quack who tried to extort her for money. She couldn't help but curse the sweet-looking scoundrels before leaving in a huff.

That night, her maid joyfully announced that her husband, who had been on the run for three days, had miraculously returned home. Lu Qin thought her luck had turned, but upon entering the room, she saw that very quack leaning against the bed with a grim face.

Rumor had it her husband could fight ten men at once. She had cursed him quite harshly earlier. Was it too late to beg for forgiveness now?

Hao Jingshi, the eldest young master of the Hao family, was rebellious and no one dared provoke him. The only time he was challenged was by a woman who couldn't afford medical fees and cursed heaven, earth, and her husband in the medical clinic.

He snorted disdainfully, ignoring her, until he glimpsed his family's token hanging from her waist. The "scoundrel" himself returned home with a dark face to settle scores.

Upon seeing him, his wife paused, stared at him for a moment, then quickened her pace and rushed over. Hao Jingshi, fuming, thought she was provoking him again. However, the next moment, the seemingly delicate woman threw herself into his arms, her fingertips twining around his waistband, and cooed affectionately, "Husband, why did you take so long to come back? I missed you so much."

"..." He stiffened. The anger in his chest seemed to suddenly flare up onto his face.

While her husband was still dazed from being pampered, Lu Qin quickly emptied his pockets and opened a clothing store. She worked diligently, but failed to notice that her husband was gradually becoming less easy to fool than before.

One pleasant evening, as Lu Qin was happily counting money, Hao Jingshi suddenly dismissed all the servants in the shop, pinned her against the wall, grabbed her chin, and asked with long-suppressed exasperation, "Do you really have me in your heart?"
