Hearing Su Qing's soft mutterings, Chris's cold expression stiffened.

This bastard wants to keep exploring inside?

He was on his way to find treasure ruins and catch up with his family's caravan afterward; he couldn't miss the trip to the Principality of Gri.

His father had already made an agreement with the king that he would meet a certain princess, and if he failed to arrive on time, it would not only be very impolite, but he would also offend the Duchy of Gri.

The group continued deeper into the area, where the trees became even more lush and dense. Underfoot was a thick layer of fallen leaves, which felt soft but also had a strange smell of decaying leaves mixed with mud.

Su Qing moved more gently and cautiously than before.

The Twilight Forest was divided into four areas by someone with a purpose, using concentric circles.

Periphery, interior, core, restricted area.

Each of the four regions has a different type of monster active in it.

The monsters active on the periphery are either groups of monsters with the strength of a regular knight, or lone monsters with the combat power of a great knight or a high-ranking knight.

The inner area is mostly inhabited by groups of high-level knights and magical beasts, including many leaders with honor-level combat power.

Among them, some of the powerful and ancient magical beasts, Su Qing was not arrogant enough to think that he could fight against them now.

Let's play it safe from now on!

"roar!"

A sudden roar erupted, and a terrifying pressure burst forth from a single point, spreading outwards.

Su Qing raised an eyebrow. His superior bloodline allowed him to ignore the oppressive aura, but the tiger and bear behind him became restless, as the oppressive aura was too much for them to handle.

Even Chris's expression turned serious, as he prepared to say something, but before he could open his mouth, Su Qing directly slapped the three guys to the ground and covered their bodies with mud and fallen leaves.

He quickly fled into the distance. These three guys were alright, too weak, but his own life force fluctuations were strong, making it difficult to hide if they were close by.

Immediately afterwards, swathes of trees fell to the ground, and a giant lizard, hundreds of meters long, crawled out of a huge burrow, cautiously surveying its surroundings.

After confirming that there was no life within a radius of several miles, they quickly left.

After the giant lizard had been gone for a long time, Su Qing ran back from over a thousand meters away, dug out the three creatures, and excitedly rubbed his paws together.

"Wait a minute, which of you will go into that cave and see if there's anything good inside?"

Su Qing looked at them, waiting for them to volunteer.

Instead, they were met with three indifferent faces.

Although they were thousands of meters apart, the trees had collapsed and the lizard was enormous. Although they couldn't see as clearly as Su Qing, they still saw the cave.

That's like luring someone into a trap, closing the door to beat them, or the excitement of food being delivered to your door.

Chris spoke with a sullen face and a hoarse voice, feeling a bit agitated.

This guy is shameless to an extreme. He righteously said that we should go in together, but in the end, he made the three of them scout ahead.

Su Qingchong gestured for him to be quiet, lowered her voice, and whispered, "If I'm not mistaken, that burrowing dragon lizard is right outside the cave!"

"This is a trap set by that burrowing lizard to lure its prey."

Su Qing never underestimated the intelligence of magical beasts. After thousands or tens of thousands of years of inheritance, and living in the dangerous magical beast forest, even the stupidest magical beast would become cunning and treacherous.

That dragon lizard must have spotted the other three creatures, but pretended not to notice and left.

The purpose was to see if these three guys had any accomplices, and to see if they were planning to escape or if they were tempted by greed and were about to enter its cave.

If it was trying to escape, the lizard would probably have attacked immediately.

But if you try to enter its burrow, this lizard will probably choose to shut the door and beat you up.

Chris looked at the orc, his usually indifferent expression softening with shock.

You clearly saw through everything, yet you still let us in?

Su Qing ignored Chris's look of disbelief, and looked around with interest.

There can't be nothing in a cave; this burrowing lizard is certainly cautious.
