Recently, Tokyo Nichiuri TV host Yoko Okino conducted an exclusive interview. Her interviewee was the renowned private detective and special consultant to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department...
The three, San Guigu, Cheng, and Huimen, huddled on the ground amidst the angry and contemptuous gazes of the crowd.
It took a long time before I gradually came to my senses.
"No, wait!" Chenglong exclaimed in sudden realization, "Wusheng... there is no Wusheng at all. You haven't found Wusheng, have you?"
"So we can't say that we killed him!"
The weeping Hu Yueling suddenly looked at him, her eyes filled with hatred that seemed to want to devour him whole.
"Do you remember the location hosting gig I took last month?" Her voice was quite calm, but it was brimming with barely suppressed anger.
"I found some belongings of the deceased in the forest of trees around Mount Fuji, and this was one of them!"
As she spoke, what appeared in her hand was a scarf that had changed color and looked rather uneven, probably hand-knitted by a beginner.
"This is a gift for Mr. Wusheng. I knitted it for him myself, and I recognized it at a glance!"
"Next to this scarf was a tattered notebook. I picked it up instinctively, but I never expected..."
"That was Mr. Wusheng's last words, written with resentment and unwillingness!"
"He wrote everything down, denouncing you wicked people!"
All I can say is that Ling Yuna is indeed, as others have described, an overly quiet and refined person.
Even in her most furious and resentful moments, she couldn't utter anything more powerful.
Mingmei then stepped forward and put her arm around her trembling shoulder.
Cheng Longye, however, found some loopholes in this accusation.
"How can you prove that it was written by Kiryu Eiji?" he shouted quickly, with a determination to fight to the death.
"Those kinds of notebooks are easy to forge, aren't they?"
"Even if Wusheng wrote it himself, it's normal for a person to be delirious before death, or to have ulterior motives, and to talk nonsense."
"You can't accuse us of killing Wusheng with something like that!"
“Yes, we only advised him to leave you,” San Guigu added, “who knew he would commit suicide!”
Akemi noticed that Reina's body was trembling more and more violently, so she could only sigh and hug her.
Things had actually come to this point somewhat as expected.
The vermouth act was first rehearsed on Reina a few days ago.
Although Reina was excited, she could still tell that the person in front of her was not Kiryu Eiji himself.
She probably already knew about Kiryu Eiji's death.
So Vermouth took her leave, and Yoruichi Toyama took the stage, patiently engaging in a long conversation with her.
Finally, moved by the words, "Kiyo's biological mother is still waiting for news of him. Are you going to hide his death in the darkness forever?", Reina finally revealed everything.
It tells the story of how she eloped with Kiryu Eiji, only to find that Kiryu had left a breakup letter and disappeared without a word, leaving her no choice but to return to the theater troupe and discover Kiryu's belongings.
Reina, who had been kept in the dark all along, realized that all the misfortunes she and Kiryu Eiji had suffered since the Karuizawa fire were caused by those three people.
And they actually swarmed around her, clinging to her fame like fleas sucking her blood.
They deserve to die!
Kozuki Rei, the perfect heroine in everyone's eyes, a delicate and innocent girl, made a vow of revenge from that moment on.
“I am no longer myself,” she said. “I am not a living person, but a vengeful devil.”
"Only the devil and the phantom can stand together."
Isn't this also a kind of "generation"?
Yoichi Toyama couldn't help but glance at the aunt as she recalled Vermouth's earlier joke.
Thinking that with her prophetic abilities, if the winery fails in the future, she can become a con artist.
“Don’t let them die so easily,” Yoruichi Toyama said, turning to Reina.
"Wusheng will never know; they themselves died mysteriously."
"Crime should be tried."
This was the condition for Reina to agree to cooperate with Vermouth in performing this play.
She naturally hopes that the wicked will be punished by justice.
But right now, it seems unlikely that this will happen.
"You just said you would turn yourselves in, right?" Yoruichi Toyama asked the three people.
Unsurprisingly, he received a negative answer.
"What confession? What evidence do you have that we set the fire?" Cheng Long, having tasted the earlier success, pressed his advantage.
"Based solely on this woman's side of the story?"
"I think she's gone insane because she's so obsessed with Wusheng!"
This shameless reneging on their promise aroused the indignation of the onlookers, and the shouts and curses from the crowd grew louder and louder, with everyone glaring at them angrily.
Faced with the choice between being scorned and being sentenced, the three stubbornly clung to the claim of "no evidence" and refused to budge.
Seeing how irritating these three looked, Vermouth was itching to give them a beating.
Yoruichi Toyama quickly stepped in front of her.
"Leave it to me, leave it to me..." He spoke as if to soothe Vermouth, or as if to Reina and the rest of the theater troupe present.
"Don't let hatred turn you into the most despicable person."
However, this statement sounded too abstract, and no one was convinced at first.
Fortunately, my phone rang.
Yuanshan Ye didn't even look at the screen before answering the call, and listened intently to the short sentence spoken by the person on the other end.
After hanging up the phone, his gaze toward Cheng Longye and the other two became more mocking.
"Or you might know that the training dormitory in Karuizawa was considered unlucky by the developers because someone died in the fire, so no one wanted to take it over?"
