As a Mage, I Only Want to Pursue Truth

A mage accidentally drifts to Blue Star. The intelligent life on Blue Star cannot influence reality by manipulating dark matter, thus the mage loses their casting ability.

In order to recover...

Chapter 285 Zheng Li at CERN

After arriving on Earth by accident, Zheng Li gained a relatively deep understanding of Earth's technological level through various means, and he realized that he could gain a lot here.

He was a god of magic during the Mage Alliance era, and cutting-edge knowledge was still very expensive.

The Archmage has privileges in many areas, and can access basic knowledge in other areas for free from the Mage Alliance's database.

However, further in-depth research requires a substantial amount of money.

A civilized scientific system is the most valuable thing on Earth.

However, the entire scientific system was of little significance to Zheng Li, as he had no need to create civilization.

The value of these lies in the fact that when Zheng Li returns to the Mage Alliance in the future and submits the coordinates of Blue Star, the Mage Alliance will reward Zheng Li based on the value of Blue Star's scientific system.

The most valuable thing during his time on Earth was the knowledge that interested him and could be connected to his original research direction.

Zheng Li's expertise lies in biocomputers, biointernets, and bioinformation security.

After the passing of that predecessor who occupied an entire planet and merged his soul with the planet, Zheng Li went up to study the specific technical details of that planet.

There are still many key implementation points that Zheng Li has not figured out.

Through the interpretations and analyses of the soul uploaded by various countries, Zheng Li realized that qualitative analysis of the soul at the micro level was the key to solving the problem.

They hadn't considered the micro level before.

In the Mage Alliance, techniques like particle collisions are controlled by a small number of mages.

There is no interconnection or interoperability between different pieces of knowledge.

Not to mention evaluation systems like Bluestar's, which rely on journal impact factors.

After arriving on Blue Star, Zheng Li thought it was a paradise for mages.

However, promoting this system within the Mage Alliance would encounter significant resistance.

After all, knowledge means understanding magic, and it means that others can develop targeted counters to break spells.

Zheng Li's primary goal on Earth right now is to figure out the nature of the soul and how the soul can be infinitely divided.

All he knew was that the sorcerer had achieved the infinite division of the soul; the most previous sorcerers had ever divided the soul into seventeen parts.

Moreover, after the soul is divided into seventeen parts, it is unable to maintain its memories and the stability of the main personality.

It's as if memories are cut along with the soul, with each piece of the soul holding a portion of the memories.

The problem of dividing a single entity into several parts has not been solved, let alone how the soul can be divided into countless parts.

Before actually setting foot on that planet, someone within the Mage Alliance suggested that the mage had not actually severed the soul, but rather had achieved flexible transfer of the soul within a living being.

However, this conjecture was later overturned; he actually managed to find traces of his soul in every plant on the planet.

Moreover, there are differences between these traces.

If it is a soul transfer, then there will be no difference between the traces of the soul's existence.

Zheng Li's primary goal is to use Earth's technology to figure out how that sorcerer parasitized the creatures of the entire planet.

This falls within the scope of his research and is considered an unsolved mystery.

This is similar to when Fermat, in Diophantus's *Arithmetica* in 1621, left behind Fermat's Last Theorem, and wrote:

“I have found a brilliant proof, but it is too narrow to write here.”

More than 370 years later, Fermat's Last Theorem was finally proven by Wiles.

Just because someone in the past could do something doesn't mean that someone who comes after can.

There are deep knowledge barriers between special mages, and the Alliance hopes that mages can pass on their knowledge when they pass away.

However, mages without descendants, even if they contribute their knowledge to the Mage Alliance free of charge, will still impose various restrictions on their descendants who want to obtain their knowledge.

......

CERNET, or Europa Nuclear Research Center, previously housed over 6,000 scientists from 80 countries around the world.

This naturally includes scientists from China.

Everything changed after Merlin appeared.

America was the first to exclude the Europa Union and Neon from the Weber Telescope project.

After the existence of the soul was confirmed and it was discovered that the soul was composed of new fundamental particles, CERN expelled all scientists except those from European countries.

Originally, CERN's member states included not only European countries but also Israel.

Later, Israel was also expelled from the organization by the European side.

Currently, CERNET has only about three thousand active scientists, and that's after scientists from England left and then returned.

This well-known research institution, located on the border between France and Switzerland, was less crowded than usual, but had many more soldiers patrolling.

The Europa League has significantly increased security measures here compared to before.

"Higgs, I've come up with a new method, or rather, a new experiment, to experiment on the soul particles."

Allen, now known as Zheng Li, was originally just an ordinary researcher at CRN.

Later, because of his simple interpersonal relationships, he was selected by Zheng Li, who then implanted many valuable subconscious ideas into his subconscious through the biological cloud.

As a result, Allen became a well-known theoretical physicist within CERNET.

Now it's Zheng Li's turn to personally take over this body and conduct particle-level experiments within CRN according to his own will.

Higgs had always thought highly of Allen because many of the theories and questions Allen raised in quantum mechanics gave him a refreshing feeling.
