"Xie Lan, I told you we shouldn't have gotten involved in this. Now we're doomed!" Xie Wei said, but his face didn't show any fear.

Just as the man was about to attack Xie Wei with a dagger, a figure rushed out from behind Xie Wei and stood in front of him, seemingly wanting to take the attack for him.
