Instead of the Shark Gang targeting the Zhao family in Nancheng first, they witnessed an attack on a branch of the Shark Gang.

The other side came prepared, organized and disciplined, and had a clear objective; their actions were all aimed at the Shark Gang's forces.

Wu Yue's recent plans were all disrupted, which enraged him so much that he smashed everything in his office.

"What a mess, Chief Wu," Bren said in his broken Mandarin as he walked into the office and saw the mess on the floor.

Wu Yue merely glanced at him in response to his sarcasm, "I wonder what good news Mr. Brun has to offer me?"

“Indeed, there is good news,” Bren clapped his hands, and a man walked in through the door. He had dark skin, a strong body, and a conspicuous bald head.

Wu Yue's eyes lit up the moment he saw Hilton walk in.

"Mr. Brun has some good skills; he even managed to poach people from the Bear Gang."

Wu Yue felt somewhat relieved after gaining another powerful combatant.

"There's a saying in your Dragon Kingdom: 'The world is bustling, all for profit; the world is bustling, all for gain.'" Bren said casually, "It's just an exchange of interests, how can it be called a means?"

Wu Yue simply smiled at Brun's words; he certainly had the right to say such things.

“Mr. Hilton, welcome to the company,” Wu Yue stepped forward to greet Hilton.

Hilton shook hands with Wu Yue in return, but did not say anything.

Wu Yue assumed that this was just the other person's personality and had no complaints.

Bren explained from the side, "He can't speak the Chinese language, but he can understand it."

Hilton nodded to Wu Yue, indicating that Brun was right.

Wu Yue expressed his understanding, as he was aware of the situation in Shata.

This good news seemed to make Wu Yue happy; his angry expression vanished and was replaced by a faint smile.

At this moment, Bren poured cold water on Wu Yue, saying, "Chief Wu is really naive."

"What do you mean by that, Mr. Brun?" His high spirits had been interrupted, and he was somewhat annoyed, but he couldn't show it in front of Brun.

Bren walked slowly to the sofa and sat down, then said leisurely, "Do you know how Xie Kui died?"

Upon hearing his question, Wu Yue frowned, a bad feeling creeping into his heart.

"How did he die?"

"Xie Wei killed them, along with the current head of the Zhao family in Nancheng." Bren looked at Wu Yue with a cold smile.

"What!" Wu Yue exclaimed in shock. "Why would he do that!"

Bren said, "I used my family's connections to find out that before the eldest son of the Zhao family died, the Zhao family and the Xie family had a good relationship because the eldest son of the Zhao family and the second master of the Xie family were on good terms."

"And the eldest son of the Zhao family has a daughter named Zhao Yujin. Guess what her relationship with Xie Wei is like?"

“But Xie Wei isn’t with Black Rose…” Wu Yue realized he couldn’t continue halfway through his sentence. As a gang leader, he wasn’t that stupid.

He realized that Black Rose had never shown her true face, which meant that, based on current speculation, Black Rose and Zhao Yujin were very likely the same person.

Wu Yue initially sold the medicine to Zhao Kui, and then gathered several gangs together during Lu Changhe's coming-of-age ceremony, intending to incite them to fight amongst themselves while he profited from the medicine.

As a result, it was discovered from Xiong Shanjing's words that Zhao Kui had fallen, the Zhao family of Nancheng had been taken over by an unknown person, and the other party did not seem to have any interest in the medicine.

This made him somewhat apprehensive, and he first considered overthrowing the Zhao family.

Although the message was eventually lost at sea, at least he believed that the other party would not interfere in their struggle.

Now they're telling him that Xie Wei has always been the person on the other side.

Moreover, Xie Wei always kept Black Rose by his side, who was a member of the Zhao family, and he had told the two of them about his plan that day.

Seeing Wu Yue's state, Bren didn't seem to care. Instead, he took out a glass bottle, looked at the pill, and his eyes showed anticipation.

Hilton stood silently to the side, seemingly lost in thought.

The person who just made those remarks was Xie Wei, who was entertaining some "friends" at his villa.

There were six people outside the villa. Apart from Xie Wei, the other five were all dressed in black robes and had their faces covered by veils.

"Greetings, Holy Son of Asura!" The five bowed slightly, clenched their fists and stood in front of their left chests, paying their respects to Xie Wei.

Xie Wei simply hummed in agreement, and the others looked up.

As soon as they saw Xie Wei's face clearly, one of them exclaimed, "You...you've become the Holy Son!"

Hmm? There are others I know.

Upon hearing the voice, Xie Wei immediately recognized who it was.

"Judging from this voice, you're from the city, right? You've come too."

Seeing the others nod, Xie Wei couldn't help but rub his temples.

With the Bear Gang's problem solved, the next step is to "persuade" the Shark Gang.

The Shark Gang isn't important; what's important is that Wu Yue has the [medicine] and the Divine Bishop behind him.

The Crocodile Gang is unlikely to help, but the combined numbers of the Bear Gang and Eagle Gang, along with the quality of the Rose Gang, should be enough to deal with the Shark Gang.
