After clearing the second level, Rudy and the others continued forward.

I pushed through without any pressure and made it all the way to the 10th floor.

Each time a boss is defeated, a treasure chest will drop.

This time, the rewards from the treasure chests are finally a bit more normal.

There are a small amount of magic crystals, some alchemy materials, and so on.

Kane's smile never faded throughout the journey.

He has already decided that he is the chosen one!

Otherwise, why would treasure chests appear on every floor?

Kane had heard Troyes mention it.

As they were walking, Michelle suddenly gasped, her legs began to tremble, and she looked terrified.

Rudy took a closer look and discovered that they were a group of monsters made of transparent liquid.

These are the monsters that can be found in various fantasy worlds.

Slime.

"Kane, it's your turn to go to the front. It's your turn to take action on this floor!"

Michelle's face turned pale, and without saying a word, she hid behind Rudy, as if only in this way could she feel a sense of security.

Mina, too, instinctively hid behind Rudy with her sister.

"It's just a slime, is there any need to be so afraid?"

Rudy looked at the two trembling girls with a puzzled expression.

"What do you mean, 'It's just a slime'? That's the most hated monster by girls all over the continent!"

Michelle punched him playfully, then continued her explanation:

"Because slimes are liquid, they are immune to physical attacks. Even if they are cut into pieces by a greatsword, they will immediately regenerate unless their core is destroyed."

“Perfect timing, Rudy, let me show you my self-created Divine Seal Martial Technique.”

Having said that, Kane revealed a confident smile and summoned his divine seal.

Dark purple light gathered in his hand.

Finally, it forms an antique-style book page.

It was inscribed with very ancient characters that Rudy couldn't understand.

Kane pinched the page between two fingers and flicked it forward.

The next second, the page quickly landed on the slimes that were hopping forward, forming a magic circle.

"Whoosh!"

With a roar as the array was activated, the slimes melted away one after another.

In less than a minute, the slimes that terrified the girls were wiped out.

"How about it, Rudy, brothers? Not bad, right?"

Kane raised an eyebrow smugly and said something in a boastful tone.

"Not bad, very strong." Rudy nodded in approval.

Kane's move is actually based on a very simple principle.

It involves forcibly signing contracts with slimes using contract pages, and then, at the master's command, causing the slimes to commit mass suicide.

However, this trick only works on low-level monsters with no intelligence, or on unsuspecting people who have been contracted by Kane.

To put it bluntly.

This tactic is simply bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

Rudy noticed this, but didn't expose him.

After clearing out the smaller monsters, the group finally arrived at the boss room on the 10th floor.

Same as before.

The level boss is an evolved form of the regular monster.

The boss on this level is a large slime with a purple body.

There was purple electricity and smoke flowing above it, which looked very dangerous.

This is practically a variant of the lightning element slime.

Same as always.

Since it was inconvenient for the girls to participate, Kane was chosen to fight the slime boss on this floor.

Kane effortlessly summoned the contract page and tossed it at the purple slime.

The next second, the page was bounced back.

Kane's expression immediately changed.

"We're doomed, Rudy, my magic isn't working on it. You'd better take action!"
