The successful completion of the WS-B1 project does not mark the end of the project; testing continues. Repeated testing cycles have just begun, including parameter measurements, control law adjustment tests, rotor dynamics tests, thermal and pressure measurements, and vibration stress measurements. These will provide overall engine performance data and verify the correctness of the engine's performance analysis model.

Verify the temperature limits of the air inlet, compressor, combustion chamber and turbine, the flameout limits of the combustion chamber and afterburner, the distortion limits within the aircraft maneuvering envelope, etc. Conduct ground and high-altitude simulation tests to illustrate and verify the transient response characteristics of the propulsion system, and verify the starting capability through ground and high-altitude tests.

Following the normal environment tests, load tests were conducted, including accelerated mission tests/accelerated simulated mission durability tests, and dynamic stress measurements, to verify that the WS-B1 engine can operate safely, economically, and reliably within the planned inspection intervals and design service life. These various extreme load environments validate the reliability of the WS-B1 engine.

After the load test, there is also a full-machine test under severe load conditions. This includes blade out, containment, overheating, and smoke ingestion, verifying the impact of severe loads on the engine and the ability to ensure aircraft safety within the specified time after the severe loads are applied.

When performing missions, fighter jets are very likely to encounter harsh load environments. They must ensure that their engines can still stably support the maneuvering operations of the fighter jets in multiple harsh load environments.
