The town is so small that there is only one clinic. Chen Chen settled Xu Miaomiao down and waited until she fell asleep before going out to see how Chen Jinzhu was doing.

Chen Chen walked around the clinic and saw Chen Jinzhu sleeping in a ward on the second floor.

There was gauze wrapped around Chen Jinzhu's forehead, and blood could be faintly seen. Even when she fell asleep, she felt as if she was in pain and could not sleep well.

Wu Sanni stayed by her daughter's bed, crying in pain, while Chen Jin stood outside the door, frowning and smoking.
