Chapter 55 Job Transfer and School Transfer

Before summer vacation arrived, Ji Wei received news of a job transfer; she would be working at a primary school in the city next semester. She told the two little ones the news and then asked, "Are you happy?"

He never expected that it would actually come true. Now he was going to go to elementary school in the city with them. Gu Chen'an suddenly felt that he was the luckiest child. All his wishes had come true.

He returned to his seat with the perfect score on his test paper. His deskmate was still muttering about going out to play later. Remembering the ten yuan Ji Wei had given him that morning, Gu Chen'an suddenly turned to his deskmate and said with a smile, "I'll treat you guys to popsicles later!"

"Okay, then I'll treat you to a soda." My deskmate was a polite classmate who knew that reciprocity was important.

Gu Chen'an's smile widened. This kind of interaction with his classmate was something he had never dared to imagine before. At this moment, he had only one thought in his mind: thankfully, Ji Wei was willing to become his mother.
